Bright rooms and outdoor pool at convenient hotel by Air Force Base
Family and friends of graduates and those living on Lackland Air Force Base will find the Carefree Inn Lackland's location very convenient. Also close are Wilford Hall Medical Center and Nelson Wolff Stadium. Downtown San Antonio is a short trip, as are the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and Natural Bridge Caverns. An outdoor pool and Jacuzzi are open seasonally. Pets are welcomed. High-speed wireless Internet access is free and a continental breakfast is served daily. Rooms are painted in vivid chartreuse.

Bad hotel

Room did not meet standards. Operator said it was a 3 star hotel and it was more like a 1 star. Chairs in rooms were broken and room was humid. Not recommending hotel even if its cheap.

Bad Experience......old and musty..

Old, nasty conditions. Would not return the prepayment. Stayed at another location but had to pay for this nasty room for 10 days. Don't not stay!!

very well when on budgt

It one of the best hotel that gives one the comfort for the price especially when one has a buget. The roon gives me the the comfort I really need. It was much larger thab I expected-very spacious-roomy.I was closer to the A.F. Base than I think.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

The restaurant next to it has a lot to do with the hotel. I encourage anyone to try it, and enjoy a good decent meal. If nacho is your kind of diet, I will recommend someone to try it with some spicy sauce.
