Mistakenly put into a smoking room
Reserved a Non Smoking room and when we went to check in we had a Smoking room. The woman at the front desk said they were booked and had no non smoking rooms available and asked if I wanted Febreeze. A few hours later and several minutes on the phone with customer service, there were cancellations and we were moved to a non smoking room.

Clean room, friendly staff
This is a plain motel, not much extra but we did have a coffee pot in the room and the room was clean and bed was comfortable. There was a softball tournament going on at the same time so the lines were long but the staff was friendly when you got to them.

Awesome stay!
I got a hotel/rental car deal for less than $100, so I wasn't expecting much. But both the rental car through Avis/Budget and the room at Day's Inn were great. Both were very clean, the staff was great, the room, with a king size bed, was very comfortable. They even threw in a free breakfast at the attached diner. I would definitly reccomend this Day's Inn to anyone traveling to San Angelo!

It took a little while to find something to eat, but it's most likely to me being picky. The staff is great about giving directions if you need them.

OK for the price
Due to flight delays, had to check in at 4:00 AM. Staff was very helpful. Only real complaint was they did not clean our room so had to request towels from front desk. When checked out the desk clerk did not want to give me a receipt since I had booked through [...]. Had to insist on one.

Golf tournament in San Angelo. You might have included a list of locate restaurants to save driving time searching for the better side of town.
