La Quinta Inn Dallas Plano East

Good location and good value. Needs a bit of TLC. Staff was great and room was comfortable and nice. Easy access to freeways and food.

I enjoyed my time in Plano very much and what made it more enjoyable was having a hotel that took care of me while I was there. The staff was very friendly and efficient in taking care of all my needs. I was particularly impressed with their continental breakfast. The choices were very impressive ... from hard boiled eggs to make your own waffles to a nice selection of fruit and pastries as well cereal and toast. I did occasionally wish that they went later then 9 in the morning with the breakfast but it was worth getting up for :)One thing I did wish was that the hotel pool would have been available. I didn't ask why it wasn't working but there was a sign saying it was getting repairs. With temps of 100 degrees plus it would have been nice to dip in the pool but at least the air conditioning worked well.The other thing that would have been nice to have in the rooms would have been a mini fridge ... but not all hotels have these but it would have come in handy.Other then that my stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a clean and friendly place to spend an evening or a week like I did.Thanks La Quinta [...] for your great service.

Like the location of the hotel, close to a lot of eatery's and just a short drive to entertainment. Was a get away for me and my husband, enjoyed a dinner and a movie at the Movie Studio, along with the Dallas car show.

Some rooms great, others need help. I moved after the first night and the second room was clean, comfortable, and a nice staff support when I needed it. I'll stay there again.

basic hotel with basic necessities are there during the stay. received good customer service.

Accomodations and service were good, and the price very reasonable. Located directly next to Denny's, which was a bonus. Convenient location with easy access to just about anywhere in East Plano. Will definitely stay there again.

Not a good side of town. Had to coerce the staff to act on simple requests. Should have paid more attention and not choose this motel based on price alone.

I booked my trip a month in advance and had called and spoken to the hotel where I would be staying. I was told that by [...] that a refrigerator and microwave at my cost to me. When I got to the hotel my room was not ready so they moved me to another room. An 18 wheeler truck body was parked in front of my room taking up about 6 spaces. Also, when I checked in I was told I would have to pay for the appliances. Since I was having surgery and my stay would be almost 2 weeks long. I paid for the fridge/microwave. I was supposed to meet up with my family to attend my nieces wedding rehearsal on June 5th. My sister in law was calling and emailing. I did not received either as the phone and internet was down. When I came back to my hotel room on Saturday night the water I had put in it was still hot. I was having surgery on Monday the 7th and needed to grocery shop prior to this as I would not be able to drive afterwards. They replaced the fridge Sunday. When I came back Sunday night the water was hot. I called them again and they replaced the fridge on Monday at this point I could not go shopping. I also requested a quiet area so I could sleep and relax while recuperating. On Tuesday night they moved a single woman with 4 kids under 6 years of age. Upon getting the kids in the room she promptly left them alone!!!! I called the office and was told that they could not do anything about it but could move me by the pool area.... In the mean time the lady returned and I went outside and asked her to please be considerate of the other people staying there. At this time she was outside sitting in her SUV screaming at someone, she then proceeded to tell me "What did I expect she had 4 kids under the age of 6" I said "Yes, I know I can hear them." Things continued to just get worse as the phone and internet continued to not be in working order, the lady next door was then joined by a male companion which left the children even more unsupervised. [...] I have always stayed at La Quinta and never had a bad experience. I will be reluctant to stay with them in the future.

Room was clean & comfortable. Had problem using the internet.

I thought this was a very nice hotel. I loved the courtyard area in front of my room. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the quality of window coverings. Those thin, practically see-through ones don't exactly make the room feel private.
