This motel had years of neglect. The key card reader of the first room I checked into kept beeping from the inside and after my initial entry, would not re-open from the outside. I was moved to another room. The sink dripped, the tub had a large
fiberglass repair (18" or bigger) that had not been smoothed/sanded down so was very jagged. The staff was pleasant and the lobby seemed to have been recently renovated. My guess is that the motel is in a state of renovation. That would have been nice to know going in and it would have been nice to have a rate reflecting that. If I know something going in, I tend to be more understanding. In this case, I am not likely to return.
The hotel and my room were very clean and everything worked like it was supposed to. The beadspread an sheets were pretty threadbare. I came in from a Best Western in New Brunswick the day before that was $25 less and much more updated. This
was OK for a short term stay, but I might explore another hotel next time. Verry friendly and helpful staff.
