Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels

Very commfortable rooms, excellent location, close to a lot of stores, outlets , movies cinemas, just in between san antonio & Austin

My main problem with the hotel was the air conditioner. It's placed underneat a window seat and that does not allow for good air circulation throughout the room. It also would not allow us to adjust the temperature except in multiples of 2 degrees either way. Very uncomfortable. The pillows were much too thick for comfort. The desk clerk brought me a thinner pillow and her jesture and the pillow were much appreciated. Did not feel it's price was as low as it should have been compared to others in the city, especially considering it was the fall season.

Perfect location. Easy in and easy out. Just what I needed and the price was right.

The hotel itself is not bad--seems clean. The staff was rude. (At one point, a staff member yelled at me from the end of the hallway to get my attention. Not flattering.) Despite what you may read on the Microtel website, this hotel is NOT pet-friendly.

Clean bathtub, comfy bed, nice window bed for extra person or to lay out your luggage. Quiet rooms, and a great breakfast. It was hot and ready before the promised time at 7:00 am. Biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, fruit, cereal, toast, pastries, juices, milk and coffee. Great stay, great price. Will book Microtel again!

very clean; good location. Needs a bigger lobby. and parking lot. but everything else was really nice.

Rooms were small and the bathroom had a foul smell

Considering the price of other hotels in the immediate are, this was a good deal. It is close to many restaurants and just a few blocks from I-35 and Hwy 46. If your in New Braunfels for a couple of days of tubing, Wurstfest or the likes, this would be a good place to stay. I was not able to get into my room early because of 100% occupancy the night before, but the staff were friendly and helpful in trying to speed up getting my room ready.

Rooms were clean. Carpet starting to wear due to all the Schiltterbaun traffic. The front desk was VERY friendly. The pool was nice and clean. Nice place to sit outside by the pool. Good value. rooms a little bit small, but we got two rooms for 4 people so we were fine.

We were looking for a great hotel to just spend the night while spending two fun filled days at Schlitterbahn Waterpark. We have never stayed in this hotel before and we were very pleased. We had two rooms that were very comfortable and the beds were clean and the sheets nice and crisp. The bathrooms were beautiful! Our rooms were very clean and with a nice new flat screen TV, a nice mirror covering the wall behind the beds and a nice and roomy fridge. The breakfast was great as well with yogurt, waffles, pastries, toast, eggs, cereal and milk or juice. The staff was honest and very helpful and accommodating. It was not a luxury hotel, but for the star rating Orbitz had listed we think this hotel deserved another star :D We will stay at this hotel again next time we come to Schlitterbahn!!!
