In need of service training
Staff was not good. Poor assistance with issues, front desk was frequently unattended and calls not answered. Cleaning skills of housekeeping in need of help.

Looking for a quiet night
Does not value customers
In the middle of the night there were children screaming and running up and down the hall outside my room. The front desk person said that they talked to the parents who would not do anything about it, and neither would he. I later found out that the kids were part of a group that was staying for a little league soccer tournament, so they were given precedence over business customers. I spoke with the children's parents and the noise stopped. This was above and beyond the cockroach on my floor that they laughed about and the hair clog in my tub that I reported and was never serviced. After a week at this hotel I will NEVER go back.

Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in McAllen. It's where I am booking next month when I am back in town.

Check-in was fairly quick. The machine for the key cards was a problem for the desk clerk. One card keyed and he had a second key card waiting when we came back through the lobby. the A/C unit was a little loud for the others in the room, but I like a little constant white noise. The only other problem was the gum someone left in the upper corner of the shower. We left a not for house keeping(hope someone can read English, we can not write Spanish).

great location / service
I was running late due to the airlines and didn't know that you need to call in to reassure that you were going to check in so when I got there my room wasn't guarenteed even though I had prepaid luckily I still got my room but it could of been bad and that is just ridiculous since it was paid for....

Its a good hotel
The air condition was not working .I did not think on telling them to change rooms untill the last night of my stay, that night I slept so good .I think it was my fault for not complaining because I call to tell them and they change me into a different room in about 3 minutes.

enjoyable business trip
Staff was nice, room was clean, and within walking distance to a restaurant. Close to where I needed to be the next day.
