Sometimes hot water, clean sheets and a functional toilet will have to do. Carpet grime, nonfunctional lamps, and strong musty odors must be ignored. While close to the freeway, it is a hike to find food. On the other hand, while they advertise breakfast at 6:30, if you have to get an early start, you can just basically help yourself.

The room was filthy. I get that it is an older building, and the disrepair is forgivable, and I get that service staff is hard to get in Midland. But there is no excuse for the filth in the room, inadequate, gray towels. And the bathroom was disgusting!!! First time I ever covered the seat in a hotel room. The only plus was NO bedbugs!

The room was dirty, and water was very nasty. I would never stay a Travelodge again.

The sheets were the only thing clean; the pillows were very hard; the floors and walls were nasty; the TV channels were fuzzy; other guests were loud in the parking lot late at night and early in the morning; other guests were cooking on grills in the back of pick up trucks at night. The only good thing was free WiFi...

Toilet did not work, ventilation fan noisy, light shining through crack in door and only one light bulb in bathroom worked. There was a large crack in the wall probably due to foundation stress and the sheets had holes in them.

This hotel is one of the worst I have stayed at, the staff are very polite but make you sign a paper at check-in. This paper explains that if anything is missing, you will be charged. Well the room had three lamps, which only one worked. The showerhead has never been thoroughly cleaned and sprayed the whole bathroom, toilet and towels included. Room smelled of cigars and such, bought a candle to neutralize the air. Stay Away from this place if you want a nice getaway.

Door wouldnt lock, Bed was broke so many more issues. Needs to be shut down.

Do not stay there, the room smelled bad, toilet was broken and backed up. Just a horrible place, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars for a decent room.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. I felt very unsafe while there. The room was not very clean and needed to be repainted. For example, there was a hair in the bathroom sink. There was no remote control for the TV and the bedcovers were filthy. The bathroom door was stained and there were flies in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable. They do provide a continental breakfast but you have to pour your own "juice" that you get out of the fridge (which was a very low-quality sugary drink). In short, I felt like I paid a lot for very little. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was there for business so I didn't stay in the hotel much. The whole place was rough. It needed to be cleaned and painted, and it maybe not that bad. I mean I can't expect too much for the price I guess. The bed was clean that is about the only good thing I can say. The shower would cycle the hot water about every 10 seconds so that was annoying. The carpets were dirty and the bathroom counter was worn out. Not a place I would say again unless I had to. They did have continental breakfast and coffee. They wifi didn't work for me either.
