Travelodge Midland TX

After booking this hotel the night before, I showed up to an empty parking lot with no lights on the hotel sign and parking lot. The sign on the door read 'Closed for Renovations -The Management'. We called the hotel and asked for a refund of our money and were denied since I prepaid on the hotel and there was a no cancellation policy. I recommend you throughly consider staying somewhere else, even if it cost a little more per night.

the staff was unfriendly upon check in. The room was very dirty. I don't think the bed spread had ever been washed - it had stains and was completely disgusting. It was late and we were very tired so stayed just to sleep. After we woke up there was banging on the door from another guest that there was a fire in the hotel. The room about 10 doors down from was indeed on fire - flames and smoke were streaming from the windows. We were able to get out without incident. However, I don't recall ANY fire/smoke alarms going off. It also took the police and fire department a long time to get there. Because of my experience there (even before the fire), I would not ever consider staying in a Travelodge again.

This was by far the dirtiest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, The hotel caught on fire and we had to be moved to a different hotel.

This motel needs paint and renovation outside and in rooms due to evident wear, tear, and rust. However, the AC, lighting, and bed were okay. TV channels were limited (ie: no ABC). On the plus side, staff is professional and outside lighting is outstanding.

Dirty rooms, questionable character of staff, just an overall bad experience.

Bathtub and shower curtain were nasty. One white bath towel had large brown stain. While turning down the bed there were two kleenex between the sheets. That told us that the sheets weren't cleaned. The sheets were blood stained and holey. The coffee maker still had a used coffee packet in it. We will never stay at another Travelodge again. Do not recommend this "motel"

I reserved my guys to stay in this hotel as it was the only one left in town, now we know why! They have it way over priced as the rooms are filthy(take your own sheets), no towels and ac sounds like a jet engine! I would pay extra to stay somewhere else.

Check in was smooth and flawless, room was recently renovated.. very comfortable.

Check in was smooth, room was clean, bed was comfortable. I recommend this hotel for anybody on a budget. Close to any restaurant you could possibly want.

This is the worst and dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed in. Obviously the sheets have never been cleaned, there are so many stains on the sheets and covers. Luckily we only stayed for one night, in fact, we barely fell asleep at all. We do not want to touch anything in the room. All the towels are dirty. I guarantee you will vomit when you see the room. Plus it is not cheap, not worth the money at all.
