A Work in Progress
The Hotel is in the middle of rentovation, I imagine tha that is why the price was low. When the hotel is completed it is going to be very nice. For $85.00 per night it's a winner. Location could be better, but it is only 10 min from downtown. The Hotel is being made over into a Bistro Hotel with Modern furnishings etc. Complimentary breakfast was a convenience that was nice. The room was large, clean and modern. Staff was accomodating. Main issue was that the my iron did not work so I had to go to my meetings with a wrinkled shirt. bb I would stay there again, I would just check and make sure the iron worked before I went to sleep. This place is a work in progress that I am sure will only get better.b

Staff is not helpful
The hotel messed up our reservations and turned us away when we checked in at 10pm. When we finally got the reservations confirmed the next day they were unhelpful and unwilling to work with us. They never apologized for their mistake and we will never stay here again.

Needs That Special Something
The "deal" at $85 (+tax=$97) was too much for what it was. $40-$50 would have been more appropriate. Poor location and room was filthy. Painting of hallways was in progress as well. Beats sleeping in a car though.

Business trip
Major hotel renovations should be disclosed prior to booking, this one was not. Front desk staff insisted on taking a copy of my drivers license and credit card to keep in their files: there is no reason for a file to be created and kept on guests containing highly sensitive financial information. There is no safe guards in place to protect guests sensitive financial information. Hotel name implied the hotel location was "mid" town. This one should be called between towns as it was not located in "mid" town. Wi-fi network did not work.

Easy to find,nice bed.
Looks like a place that started out with High Expectations before the Economy Tanked. They removed some in room features (frig & Microwave) to save $$ and the Pool is an abandoned hole in the ground. I noticed that the High End light fixtures in the hallways are being replaced as they expire with the cheapest Wall Mart fixtures. The Bed was very Nice and high Quility and the Flat Screen TV had a good picture and selection of Channels. The Toilet in my room was not ancored to the Floor and was moving around! I returned to my room one day at 6 PM and no one had serviced it all day! That said, the all the front desk staff were extreamly helpfull and the Free use of the Computer was very much appreciated. Not a Bad place to Stay but not a Great Value.

Nice Hotel
This hotel was nice and very quiet; I would stay there again. Everything was very neat and clean. There were signs saying the pool was under construction/renovation, but I never saw any work being done. The only problem I had with this hotel is that you can tell the age of some of the sheets, i.e. white sheets that are yellowed from age and show some stains. They were clean sheets, just old ones that needed a good bleaching.

If you like disgusting...
Not sure the last time either of our rooms were vacuumed-someone had left their earring backs on the table, toothpicks on the floor, and used kleenex. Had to clean the bathtub/shower myself because there was no way I could bring myself to ever step in there without some sort of cleaning first. I did leave the cleaner for them in case they were out and that was the reason for never cleaning. I went ahead and bought shoes that I could wear in the shower so that I didn't expose my feet to the nastiness of it all. I also had half used bottles of the complimentary shampoo, not that I was using it anyway. This was by far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. I am sure there are others just as awful across the county, I have just never seen one. But being that this was the ONLY hotel in Midland or Odessa with an available room, I stayed. But if you have a choice, do not chose this one.
