Courtyard by Marriott Midland Odessa

Good experience. Breakfast was included. Made sure to call and let them know of late arrival

This is a new hotel, so we expected a nice staff as well as hotel. We had two travelers who had guaranteed rooms for late delivery. When we arrived at 10;30pm they had given one of the rooms away. When we asked for help finding another room somewhere else we were denied assistance and when we demanded compensation they laughed and said they would call the police and have us removed if we continued to ask for some help. It was the most unbelievable experience after years and thousands of hotel stays. I would never suggest this hotel and would consider it wise if Otbitz took them off of the list of suggested stays.

Staff went out of their way to retrieve a belt that my grand daughter dropped onto the roof from our balcony.

Everyone was new, and I had to ask someone before they could give my questions an answer. The shuttle to the airport said "complimentary in the booklet in the room, and the front desk said it was $20 one way..they charged me $25 one way! Last year I stood in water in the shower, and this year it was my sink that didn't drain! The stairways had the same crackers on all the 4 days I was there! In Billings, Mt. the breakfast is complimentary...here I paid!

I was here on business and had a hard time doing any kind of work on my laptop because of their SLOW internet....1.49 Mbps to be specific.

My adult daughter and I were in Odessa to attend an area UIL event. We had confirmed late arrival and had paid in advance for one room with 2 queen beds and with breakfast to be included. We arrived at 10:30 pm, were assigned to a room with one king bed and no record of breakfast to be included. The desk clerk assured me that we had the last room in the hotel because they had overbooked. I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would be available the next morning - after we had to check out to get to the event. I have traveled all over the country during 35+ years as a school administrator and business person and have frequently stayed in Marriotts. This is my first experience of this type at a Marriott. I would be reluctant to return to this location because of the poor customer service provided for long-standing customers.

Nice and new looking but the room could have been cleaned better. Found a few stray hairs in the bed and bathroom. They also need to vacuum the rooms better.

Great service from all staff members who we came in contact with. Only drawback was lack of room service on weekends. Staff was very helpful in identifying quick food delivery options.
