I was pleasantly surprised. My initial response when I first entered the Inn was... this could go either way but upon entering my room the first thing I noticed was how fresh and clean it smelled. Then I turned on the light and the room matched the smell! Linens, bathroom, floors, mirrors... all clean and perfect. The staff was great and helpful and accommodating. Gave good referrals and suggestions but the housekeeping staff knocking on doors to clean before 745am was a put-off. I mean seriously??? Even for business clientele that's a bit too early. I liked that they had hot coffee available all day and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. The cafe was good, nice people and its lounge looked lively and fun. The location was very convenient to the airport. It was even within moderate drives to Midland center or Odessa but make no mistake about this... you're in an industrial park. There's a Mc Donald's attached to a truck stop and a couple convenient stores about a mile away and that's it. Nada, nothing else!

Average in many ways
I had read reviews on other sites that really downgraded this motel. Not true! It was an ordinary motel whose best feature for me was I was less than half a mile from the Midland Airport terminal. I do think they charged too much for the room by about $30 but its location made it desirable for a 6:15 am airport call. It's about 8 or more miles to food/entertainment.

Yet Another Road Warrior
Not Great but Not Bad
This appears to be a former Best Western taken over by Baymont Inn. It's an older style motel with interior hallway access. The room was in average condition, reasonably clean, and the bed comfortable. The restaurant on-site has a very limited menu and other dining is either at the airport or several miles away. Call hotel for directions if driving as my Garmin Nuvi placed me on the opposite side of I-20 instead of just off Wright Road. This motel's best feature is its nearly "on-site" airport location.
