We are 10 minutes from downtown Dallas, TX off of Interstate 30. The Dallas Aquarium, Botanical Gardens,Mesquite Rodeo, and Dallas Museum of Art are a mere 6 miles away. We are less than 5 miles from the Mesquite Convention Center; Easy access to I-30 takes you to the John F. Kennedy Memorial; Six Flags Over Texas; Texas Stadium, and Devils Bowl Speedway. The Mesquite Inn and Suites is a Magnuson Hotels affiliate.

My Second Visit

This is my 2nd stay @ this hotel. I will be staying there again in May & June for family reasons. Both visits had little things not go right..no iron/ironing board, no toothbrush in vending machine, unneeded Handicapped shower flooded restroom (it could have been me, the operator!)...things that I can overlook. The hotel is a great location in regards to where I needed to go and I look foward to staying again. I would still recommend it to anyone for the price.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

"Restaurant Row" is but a five minute drive along with other entertaining businesses.

Stay on 3/27/2010

I reserved a King Sized Bed. That room was not available. I was given a room with 2 full-sized beds for the same price. Would rather have slept on the bigger bed. It is a decent hotel in a very good location (3 blocks from the people I was visiting). I ended up staying another night in town, it was a good enough hotel to stay in a second night as well. It served its purpose for the quick trip I made.

There is a "restaurant row" about five minutes from the hotel. Lots of dining options there. Take I30 East to 635 South.

the good bad and ugly

first thing i seen was the door look like it was kicked in a some point an bullet holes in the door and people coming back and forth all night and the pillow case looked dirty ..........
