Needs repairs
My first room, the bathroom light wouldnt work, so I was reloacted. Second room was clean, but there were still many things that needed repaired. The hotel itself is clean and in a great location, but they need to invest a little time and money to fix some things.

First, it is the first time I do a review but I sure need to mention these points. [...]The hotel was very old which I have no porblem with it, but the attitude from the people. I have always booked using [...] and I felt this person do not appreciate [...] business at all. I just wanted to share this bad experience with you. I still had a blast in McAllen, by the way they woke me up at 8:30 am telling me that check out time is at 11. Bye, Santiago

yea right
unbelieable
I did not appreciate the early 8am wake up by the cleaning crew.Too bad there were no do not disturb signs for the door. We could hear them coming three doors away. I'm sure other guests complained.

Dissatisfied Traveller
It wasn't worth the cheaper rate!!!!
The rooms are in bad condition. The mattresses were soft. The bathrooms were in disrepair. The included continental breakfast was awful.

The experienced traveler
CRAMPPED BATHROOM
THE STAFF WAS GREAT VERY COURTEOUS AND KIND. THE BATHROOM WAS SMALL AND THE TILE HAD MILDEW. THERE WAS A RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR THAT HAD A DJ THAT PLAYED TO THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING. THE PARKING LOT WAS THE REAR ENTRANCE OF THE RESTAURANT SO THERE WERE FOUL OLD SMELLS THAT LINGERED FROM THE TRASH OF THESE BUSINESS.THE ROOM SAID NO SMOKING BUT IT HAD A FUNNY ODOR OF A SMOKERS ROOM. THE POOL WAS NICE AND CLEAN, ONE OF THE CLEANEST I HAVE SEEN AT A HOTEL.BUT OVERALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT BAD, THE HOTEL DID PROVIDE THE MINIMUM ACCOMMODATIONS FOR A TRAVELER. THERE WAS A RESTAURANT DOWN THE STREET "COUNTRY COOKING" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THIS PLACE HAD A GOOD BUFFET ON SUNDAY MORNING AND THE MENUDO WAS GREAT THERE!

This is not the first time that we stay in La copa using cheap tickets , the reception staff and the two or three times have been the same lady we arrived and she told us that they didn´t have the register of reservation, that we have to call you and she told us that is not good for them that us using reservations with internet like cheap tickets , we have to check mi email and she went to the computer and look to my mail because she didn´t believe it. It was not a pleasent arriving because this lady it was rude . Months ago she gave us a room in a bad location and we ask for a room near to the pool o inside of hotel and she told us they were full, but we saw empty rooms.
