Nice Super 8

Although there was construction going on next ot the hotel which made getting to it a little harder, it was worth it. Rooms were update and clean. Enjoyed the indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna. Continental breakfast was well stocked with an ample selection to get your day off to a good start. Great location close to downtown and Texas Tech.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Try the JJJ Steakhouse. Food, service and live entertainment was great! It is in the Depot area where there is lots of nightlife. Fun time - so good we went back the next night! If you get a chance, drive around the Texas Tech campus and visit the National Ranching Heritage Center on campus - a great exhibit. A little disappointed with the Buddy Holly Museum - mostly pictures with writing although we did learn a few things.

Super Super 8

Great room and rate Marcus at the front desk was very helpful. Quickly found us a remote for tv when we discovered it was missing. Very nice hotel.

Clean but not right downtown

I was in a nice and clean room with a king bed. Staff was friendly. The only bad thing I saw was that the coffee pot was overlooked and there was old tea bag sitting in the pot. No big deal, just something I noticed.

Great Place in Lubbock

One of the nicest places to stay for the money! Clean, modern, etc. Wish other places we had stayed were as nice as this one! Only thing missing was a Restaurant close by to eat at, but hopping in car and a few short blocks brought us to a local steakhouse worth the drive.

Steakhouse off of University Ave really worth the effort to drive to. Reasonable prices and excellent steaks and salads.

Quick trip :)

It was a nice hotel and affordable pool sauna hot tub free breakfast but if you asked for towels or sheets they made you walk all the way to the front desk

Very clean!

Room was very clean, as were all areas of the hotel! No strong odors, just clean smell! Smoke fee!

Great Hotel

It was a very pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable and it had an EXCELLENT air conditioner. I would recommend it to anyone.
