ummm....can you say dirty?
Hotel was extremely run down; very dirty. Linens were very old and worn and looked dirty; shower curtain had mold on it, toilet didn't work we had to keep calling to get it fixed. Towels were stained and floors were filthy. I would highly suggest to pay an extra amount of money to stay somewhere else.

Unhappy stay
Traveled to Lubbock on business. Decided to book hotel with travel package even though I was leery as I have had a few bad experiences with Super 8 (also some good though, depends on ownership and age of hotel). The hotel was outdated, lobby smelled awful, staff spoke very poor english and were constantly walking by and looking through the window of my room, room was outdated, dingy, and missing multiple lightbulbs. Just very disappointed overall.

IT WAS NASTY
THEY NEED TO LOWER THE PRICE! IT WAS DIRTY AND IT SMELLED BAD!! THEY NEED TO REMODEL AND NOT LET ANYONE STAY THERE!!

guests with Kids should have a downstairs room!
It was ok,no it was not, who am I kidding??? I will not stay there again. Breakfast lacked a lot! 2nd night there a couple had a screaming fight outside of motel... 4th night the people in the room above us need to learn WHEN TO PUT THERE TODDLER TO BED! From the sounds of it they were allowing the child to use the bed as a trampoline and do a dismount to the floor. This went on forever and I called the front desk...it still continued... Overall, , I was disappointed and would not stay again!

Super 8 on Ave. Q
This room was way too pricey!!!! The clock would not work after setting it twice, the only way to watch the tv was lying or sitting in the bed, the only chair was facing the other way and could be used, but put in front of the door. The room was very small due to all the heavy furniture. The lavatory had been updated, new granite cabinet and new tile had been added to the floor.

Dark/Dank/Dirty
This property was very dark and the furnishings were very worn. There were stains on the wall and the room smelled. On my first day the manager/owner asked me if I wanted my room made up. I didn't realize I needed to request this service. On the second day the room was not made up by the time I returned at about 6:00 P.M. I asked the cleaning service to attend to my room and they arrived about an hour later. By this time I was tired so I just asked for clean towels. They were out of large bath towels and told me they needed to do some laundry and would bring me towels later. Overall the value dollar for dollar was good, but the property was quite substandard. I would rate it a 1 star.
