Rodeway Inn Lubbock

I was there for a Region C SWE Conference. It was a fair reasonable price. I stayed there for 2 days. I got the room I needed non-smoking. Had fresh towels each morning, bed was made, and room kept clean, there was an iron, TV with remote. Even though they served a breakfast I didn't eat there due time. Location was good and close to where I needed to go. I would work on the staff though late at night. I was comfortable and slept well. No itchy sheets or comforters so that was a good thing. I could adjust the AC/heater to need temperature in room. Some hotels you can't do that. Overall it was good.

This is an average hotel. Check-in and out was fast.

I've been staying here for years when on the way out to the Rocky Mountains. Location is great - it's on the main North/South Hwy, and it's close to restaurants. Don't expect anything fancy, but if you want a cheap, clean, and quiet crash pad, this is it.

No flexibility on check-in. Rooms in average condition. Get what you pay for.

The motel wasn't to bad, but I was in town on business so I don't require much, just clean bed & shower. The walls are paper thin so I had no problem hearing the couple in the room next to me have a screaming door slamming argument at 2:30 in the morning. Also if you want a place to stay with a good continental breakfast...this is Not the place. Slooow internet. But for the price you get what you pay for.

We stayed for a concert, so we were not going to stay a long time. The parking lot is small and horrible I don't understand why the city inspector hasn't been aware of their lot! Customer service was horrible, the clerk/owner would laugh when we asked her a question, so I am assuming she did not understand English. There was a Holiday Inn across the street that we should of chosen instead! Definitely not going back, however if its the only hotel available then not bad, the room itself was clean, but no view! overall i give it a 4 out of 10.

The price was great. It is in a good part of town and right next to a new Walmart. Great experience for an inexpensive, quick overnight stay.

I thought it was just right for the price

Check in was horrid. The man at desk was very nasty. Wasn't going to give us the room we reserved and prepaid for. Once we finally got in the room we were disgusted. The room was FILTHY. The only plus was that the torn sheets were clean. The bathroom had mildew and mold, the bathtub was dirty and the towels paper thin, the toilet was stained from lack of cleaning and the floor wasn't swept or clean. The room was dusty and the nightstand had spilled coffeee and pop stains that had been there long enough to also be dusty. The blanket on the bed was ripped and torn. The door to the outside had a gap that allowed wind into the room. My only advise is not to stay here.

Had to get hotel staff whenever re-entering room.
