Conveniently located just one mile from Texas Tech University and minutes from the historic Cactus Theater, Joyland Amusement Park, the Buddy Holly Center and the Science Spectrum- a hands on museum. Located in the heart of west Texas, Lubbock is a big-city metropolis with small town hospitality and values. With an average of 277 days of sunshine per year, visitors will enjoy many outdoor recreational activities in Lubbock. Play a round of golf a Rawls Course, located on the Texas Tech campus. Spend the afternoon hunting for the latest fashions or one of a kind antiques at one of the area's many unique shopping venues. Many wineries are with in 15 minutes of the hotel.

Enjoyable Stay

I had booked 3 rooms for a party of 7 for a business trip. The hotel was close to everything. My only complaint was we couldn't get adjoining rooms. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. I would come back.

Close to Tech.

We stayed here because our son had an appointment at tech. It was a great value. The room was clean and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable I didn't wake up with a back ache. The breakfast at the atrium was great, as well as the service. Definitely will stay again.

Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was okay, nothing special. My car was broken into. The hotel has had this problem before, even with their own staff. You would think they would take more steps to ensure the safety of customer and employee property. I feel like the hotel and the police could have done more. Very disappointed! We waited 2HOURS for lubbock police to arrive. Very sad...... about the whole thing.

Old and Run Down!

This is an old run down hotel way past its prime. Service was marginal, it smelled funky, and the carpets were disgusting. I can’t believe that the airlines still overnight their crews at this hotel. We left at the same time as three flight crews and there was nothing available but lousy coffee and a special K bar.

Cheap

This hotel had a funny smell as soon as the doors opened. Very friendly, helpful staff. Bathrooms were clean and modern. The gym had no treadmill.

Decently priced and great for the area

Clean, convenient to the airport. Plan on staying there again in 2 weeks. Friendly staff and helpful.

Good place to stay if you are on a budget

I've stayed here twice recently. Only stayed one night each time because I had an early flight the next morning. Rooms were clean, decent sized for the price, staff was friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the airport is fantastic. Lubbock doesn't have any hotels that are really close to the airport and this one makes it really easy to get there. Only 12 minutes from the airport. I'm going to be staying there again in two weeks.
