A MUST VISIT FOR EXCELLENT COMFORT FOOD, THE ALL AMERICAN BURGER IS THE FIVE GUYS BURGERS.

The Overton hotel was a very satisfying stay. Iv been in fancier hotels but this one had no problems. My gf has never been in a nice hotel so she was in aww with everything. The rooms are very very nice and new age looking so I was surprised with that. The staff was very friendly and professional. Over all it was a very good stay. No complaints.

Overton, Lubbock---good choice!
We stay in Lubbock twice a year, to drop off and bring home a college kid from Texas Tech. Never dissapointed in the Overton.

Clean and Business Friendly
Room was clean and comfortable with a nice business/computer work area. Room had a nice view overlooking the Texas Tech campus. Many restaurants close by as the hotel is literally on the university campus. Also had very good access to freeways. One negative was the hotel wireless internet policy. It said that the hotel could monitor my use and collect information (personal and otherwise) for sale to others...smacks of "Big Brother" and I declined to use their service and opted for using my Android phone hotspot instead.

Sandy on the road
Swanky in Lubbock!
Overton is adjacent to the Texas Tech football field, so it is great for campus visitors. The hotel is fresh, new, beautifully decorated with cool art. Room service was great, the front desk was full of helpful suggestions on things to do while in Lubbock. Highly recommended.

Great Stay
I really enjoyed my stay at the Overton. The rooms are relatively spacious, well appointed, quiet and very clean. The staff are friendly and the bar and restaurant are good. Many restaurants are within walking distance. A great stay overall!
