Good value - Easy Access

Its good enough. not exciting

Good for one night. The outlet is far from the table. And there is only one outlet in some kind of proximity to a place to sit, but its taken by the alarm clock and lamp. The restroom is real small and your elbow, when sitting, is all up on the toilet paper. I'm 26 and just needed a cheap hotel for thee night. That's what this is. And the breakfast is boo boo, but there is a waffle maker. Just sayin.

Good for the price

For the price, was great.. It was a very clean room and the staff extra nice. Good free breakfast in the morning with pastries, eggs, waffles , biscuits and gravy. Only negatives is that the beds are super hard and the temp goes from too hot to too cold evne when you have it set on just low heat.

clean hotel and friendly staff

We stayed at the Howard Johnson for Thanksgiving wknd. The hotel was clean, cozy and great for the price youre getting. Will stay here again in the future.

Not again

The room was reeking with Cigarette smoke. Very dirty and in desperate need of attention. I would never do it again.

Visit college son

Ordinary, maid service was not great, did not make the bed correctly iron leaked water all over my clothes

Decent Lubbock motel

This Howard Johnson Express Inn in Lubbock Texas was typical of low end motels. It was clean but the towels could have been cleaner. The room keys are reused and did not work well. Breakfast was good with warm eggs that most similar places no longer provide.

howard Johnsons' billboard

clean, nice room. However, we paid $61.36 for our room. On the billboard outside the office, they were advertising rooms for $39.99. I have a photo of the billboard to prove it, if you want it. What happened to your "lowest price" guarantee?

A good place to stay

Must have been under renovation because some room doors were marked in gray paint splotches (strange to view), but our room was wonderful...very clean, neat, all needs provided for with microwave and refrigerator, smelled very nice (unusual - I take a scented candle with me and didn't even have to use it!), and service was immediate. A very good location, easy to find, and an excellent price-we were very pleased.
