Holiday Inn LUBBOCK-PARK PLAZA

Had to change rooms after checking in. Bed was not made in first room. Staff did a good job giving us a new room.

The room was clean and very nice. The staff was great..Will stay there again. We had other family members staying there and we all agreed it was a great place..

Room was not cleaned daily, bathroom really dirty, one trash can. Hotel staff knocked on door did not give us time to answer the door, just walked in immediately. Broken phone, use cell and got hung up when answered

This Hotel is lovely and comfortable, clean and conveniently located. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful with only one exception. We had zero out of three nights of uninterrupted sleep. 1st night; neighboring TV awakened us at 1:30. We were moved. Downgraded from king to two queens next to the rear entry. Offered free breakfast. Told a King room would be found. 2nd night had trouble sleeping due to entry door traffic. In the morning neighbors were talking/smoking in front of our room clearly labeled with a "do not disturb" card. When I opened the door and showed them the card I was threatened with rhinoplasty, my words not his. I called and asked for the manager, who was never provided. I was offered free breakfast. 3rd night Door "D" opened and closed every few minutes. It opens with a clack and closes with a thump. Upon checkout as I was describing my complete lack of satisfaction to the desk clerk, before I could quote their proudly displayed "hospitality promise tm" another clerk interrupted touting my already having been offered free breakfast. I didn't need a hotel for eggs, I needed it for rest so I could perform well photographing a wedding. This rest never occurred and I'm mostly dissatisfied with the results of my work. So I will be refunding the bride and groom's money and still be paying for airfare for two, hotel and rental car. I actually upgraded our return flight to first-class in an attempt to keep my assistant. If she quits I'm out of business.

I have stayed at this hotel before. The first time we had a suite and the master bedroom's floors were soaked with water and the staff was unfriendly. The second go around the computers crashed everyone formed a single line after waiting 2-3 hours to check in. They wanted you to write down your information and they'd contact you later. didnt give us the requested room. Not all the rooms were cleaned at 5pm. I must say i will never go back and do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nice windmill museum.

I would stay here again at a lower rate. For the price I'd prefer a newer hotel but overall not a bad place - if you can negioate a lower rate.

Staff was great and accomodating. Very clean, nice large rooms and pool. Great stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Nice sized rooms, friendly staff and location was great!! Very enjoyable and the kids loved the pool!!!!!!!

There were wet dirty towels in the closet when I checked in that I found only when I hung my clothes up. I was charged $30 in addition to the price of the hotel I paid on Orbitz, but I am not sure what for. And, there was no wireless internet the entire time I was there. I was told that the router was damaged in a storm. A main reason I stayed there was for the internet. Bed comfortable, but pillows were terrible. I would not stay there again - not for the price they charge.
