Days Inn Lubbock South

Room was nice and remodeled. Motel was quiet. The indoor pool area was freezing. You couldn't use the pool or you would become a snowman. Same goes for the breakfast area, absolutely cold. How 'bout some heat...................! It's a little tricky getting there off of the interstate, there are some one ways.

The room (non smoking) we were in was attached to a smoking room to the outside & the smoke from there was migrating somehow to our room.

attended the regional volleyball tournament in levelland.all was well.

It was a wonderful break from the hectic home life. We stayed just to get away and be together. The breakfast was Great. the rooms were clean, the pool was warm and the hot tub was perfect. I will deffinately stay there again in the future.

The hotel itself wasn't too bad. The rooms were nice, if not a little bland. There was a party (wedding reception) going on, so we couldn't use the pool, and it was very loud. The front desk staff [...] was super helpful in finding a room at their sister hotel due to the situation, that was perfect. Best service from a front desk person ever!

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Rooms were very clean and very nice. Everytime I stay in Lubbock Tx I plan on staying at the Days Inn South Lubbock.

The room met my needs. I did want amenities that I did not intend to use. I had a long day planned and needed a room that was clean with a comfortable bed. I rested well and I was pleased.

we were on a roundtrip trough texas we arrived very early at the hotel,nevertheless is was no problem to check in.

Super nice hotel with the price to match. Enjoyed the idea of having the choice to enter the hotel through the inside or outside. Will definately stay again and highly recommend to all my friends and family.

We travelled to Lubbock for new student orientation at Texas Tech. This hotel is one of the newer ones in the Lubbock area and, as such, is cleaner and in better shape than most of the others. Check in was friendly and quick. The surrounding area is mostly industrial so not very attractive but we stayed in an inside room so that was not much of an issue. One nice thing about the location is that it is in a less congested area than those closer to the university or downtown. It only takes a few minutes to get to these locations though. An unusual aspect of this hotel is that the courtyard, breakfast tables, and pool/spa are located in the center of the building. It is quite attractive but not cooled. It is completely enclosed but feels more like being outside. Stays cleaner than an open air area I'm sure but gets somewhat hot in the middle of summer. No problem with air conditioning in the rooms. Cleanliness was better than many other hotels I have stayed in. I would suggest that the staff might want to vacumn the corridor areas more ofter however. It was obvious that did not occur during the 3 days of our stay. Not bad but still obvious as someone spilled a few potato chips and they stayed there the whole time. Nice desk help, good value and very comfortable beds. We would stay there again.
