very good location
the rooms were clean and nice if there would have at least been a coffee maker,and microwave.It was a nice location from restaurants,stores.on previous trips we had to drive across town to go eat,or anything,even a store.

A meeting Place for the seedier side of Life
I have stayed at other motel 6 before and don't expect much other than a simple, clean room. But I didn't even get that this time. At first glance the carpet and bed cover were very worn and dirty. But as I pulled back the bed sheets i found a mattress cover that was to small to cover the mattress; an extremely worn one to be exact. When I complained they gladly gave me a brand new cover but asked me to put it on myself. I have no problem doing it but thought that was odd. As I stripped the bedding to change it I found the next cover soiled with leaves and twigs. It looked like it had been dragged across the parking lot. They gave me a new one again and I was too tired to find a new motel. That evening as I tried to sleep I noticed the next door to me being knocked on all night. That and a slapping fight between two girls gave me the impression that certain business was being done next door. The next day I found a motel one minute away across the freeway for only four more dollars. It was clean and quiet and twice the size.

Short drive from hotel
There were several dining opportunities close by, considering it was a major exit for Longview Texas. Even the main shopping area was only five minites away. A very good location! For simple shopping there is a Walmart one minute south.

I got lost at first... This hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but once I got there, the front desk girl was very nice and very informative... I liked the coffee and the pool was nice.... Room was comfy and I liked the fridge...

The Super Wal-Mart is right by the hotel.. Great place to get a lot of necessities for a bargain price...
