Shouldn't have done it

The bed was very hard, there was no iron or ironing board. Room was small, but that wasn't a problem for us. Every room had a large crack at the bottom of the door into the hallway, there was obviously no sound proofing in the hotel. You could hear people banging on the other side of the wall and in the hallways. Every time I walked through the hallway, the stench of cigarette smoke was horrible. We had a non smoking room, but it still smelled smoky. At breakfast, the bagels were frozen, and twice there was no milk in the fridge for cereal. Other than that, staff was friendly and welcoming. Next time I'll pay more and get a better motel. Guess I learned my lesson.

Mi Casita on McCann road across from Shipley's is the best breakfast place if you like Mexican food.

good getaway

Good location. Convient,clean. Bedspread had small possible cigarette holes. Would be more confortable with an easy chair and a table light. The super bright light over the bed was too much. Overall very good value. Staff was friendly. Would definately recommend.

Enjoyed the stay, great price

Enjoyed the stay, location was great not to far from the Hot Air Balloon and where you can get food. People at the Hotel were friendly and very nice. I will come back and tell friends about the hotel.

Geat hotel with location and price.

Every thing was just great and the rooms was very nice, with the location right off the interstate. The rates were super compared to other hotels with the same services.

Nice and clean

Went to Texas for a funeral. The price was good, the rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings. The A/C was not on in the room when we arrived and it took awhile to get cold due to the 100 degree heat, but was able to enjoy the stay.

Leon's Steakhouse Saloon is down the road a short distance. They had good food,nightly entertainment, and the staff there was lots of fun. The local customers were very friendly.

A Little Musty

We got two rooms for our family. The rooms were clean, but a little musty. We "aired them out" and managed quite fine. There seemed to be water flowing in the airconditioner . . . is it a "swamp cooler" type system? The pool was nice, but VERY warm, though the kids didn't mind this.

It is worth the approx. 6 mile drive to get a larger selection of food. Double Dave's Pizza (310 E Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605 (903) 753-3283) we thought was great.

good room for a good price

Though the rooms are small they are clean, and well maintained. The price was very reasonable compared to what you might be paying elswhere in that location. The only complaint I have is the coffee machine as well as the orange juice machine on the first floor didnt work. And the room service doesnt speak any english. But you can call the front desk if you have any questions or concerns. Other than that it was a nice stay at a good price.Great location as well.

Dont get soaked

This was your average hotel room. But the A/C didn't keep the room cool enough. Also the dryer in the laundry facility didn't dry our clothes after an hour( and $2.00 later).
