Traveled that Road
Fine, but...
We've stayed at this hotel before, and expected a bit nicer breakfast buffet. To years ago they had a very nice one. This hotel is a wonderful quick stop right off the highway, it's easy to find. It is a bit far from family dinner restaurants, but a quick jaunt into Longview will take care of that. Our complaint is primarily the breakfast: the room was VERY hot, they've GOT to do something about the air-conditioning in that room, it just does not keep up with the morning sun, the coffee was like brown water, the juice dispenser was out as well as the sausages and eggs, and their famous cinnamon rolls tasted "stale" (!)and it was only 8:30am! The breakfast room, at least, was clean, but the trash cans were full, and there was a spill of something sticky on the WALL about head height! It is evident that someone might need to go over that breakfast scene with a fine tooth comb and pay attention to the small details. Small things make BIG impressions. By the way, the pool was great and the cushions on the chairs, MUCH appreciated!

Holiday Inn Express Longville,tx
I checked in at noon on 7/3/09. 11:10pm on 7/4/09 the hotel gave a key to someone who just about broke down our door to get in. The hotel thought we were a no show and were not there. Clerks had no clue has to what was going on.

Simple and clean
Holiday Inn Express LONGVIEW takes care of all of the basics very well. The establishment is clean and well kept. The beds are very comfortable. And the breakfast set up is not fancy but has several options, more than I am used to seeing in this price range, good basic breakfast fare. We have stayed at a few of the establishments in this area and have become partial to this particular lodge for it's price, cleanliness, and good service.

Inconvenient But Tolerable
The Holiday Inn Express was o.k. This particular night the elevator was down,my room was on the 3rd floor and I had to take the stairs. I was a little uneasy about that. Overall it is a very nice hotel. I would stay there again
