Baymont Inn & Suites Longview

Work trip.

right off the freeway. quiet location. room was very clean and inviting. front office staff stayed on phone alot; acted like he really did not want to help us. over all, i would stay there again.

The room was a smoking room. I orderd a NON Smoking room. When I called and complained to the front desk there were no other rooms avaiable. She was also to send housekeeping with air freshner, she never arrived. She may have gotten lost. The bath tube was rusty around the corners. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

As a single woman traveling and staying in a motel/hotel just off the highway, sometimes it is difficult to find a clean place that you feel safe in as well. This was the right price for exactly what it is, not too fancy but clean and the lady at the front desk, "[...]" was her name was very friendly and put my room in the exact location that I asked in order to feel comfortable and safe. The area is a good location to get to Tyler, Longview, Lindale and a few other areas where I need to make calls. I would stay here again for sure!

well i was there to attend an orientation and i couldn't have chosen a better location it was very close to the orientation location.Was not hard to locate but the down side of it was that it would have helped if there's a mirowave and a refridgerator in the room,i won't have have to go to the breakfast room to get my dinner warmed up or looking for where to keep my left overs. Another thing was that some of the electrical sockets weren't working properly, plus the coffee matching was outdated too. Apart from this minor things, my stay was woderful.

We got back to our room later in evening and was just trying to get settled for the night. The TV was not working properly.Called front desk for replacement. They state could not replace but offered to have us change rooms. It was late and everything was already unpacked. Did not want to repk and lug around to another room. no other option was offered.

Peaceful

The room was very nicely furnished with 4 lamps. An overhead light would be better. I attended a parenting conference at Heartlight Ministries. Since I had someone picking me up, it was great to have the bench by the front door to wait on. The first night, I noticed there was no shower curtain, so when I called, they brought one immediately. Although they had signs stating that only towels on the floor would be picked up, so that towels could be reused, they picked them all up. The housekeeping staff needs to be reminded of the purpose of this. Personally, I feel that less money should be spent on the room furnishings, and more spent on comfortable mattresses, as this is the most important part of a motel room. This room was very comparable to other rooms I have stayed in on previous trips.

Visit family

I wouldn't ever stay at this hotel again. It was dirty and even one of our towels had pine needles in it straight from the rack. We changed rooms because the one they gave us smelled like smoke. All the rooms smelled like smoke somewhat.
