Cheap for a reason

Welcome to Americas Best Value Inn of Longview TX. We feature 40 spacious guest rooms equipped with high-speed wireless Internet access/ microwaves and mini refrigerators/ irons and ironing boards/ cable TV/ and free local calls. Cheap for a reason

I reserved the suite. No coffee maker, no microwave, no clock radio. Good cable, clean room. Breakfast was non-existant. No juice, no coffee. Not customer friendly at all. Cost was good, but the services were not what was advertised. Poor customer service.

wouldnt recommend

the room was very hot upon arrival took almost all night to get it cool you would think that if they know your coming they could at least turn the ac on or have a different set up to where it cant get hotter than a certain temperature the first part of the night was horrible with sweat the wife complaint was it had no hair dryer in bathroom first hotel we have seen without one overall front desk personel was nice but wouldnt book there again back to guess you get what you pay for

I don't normal complain but........

Here's the GOOD NEW'S. The price was very good the fridge is cold and the microwave worked just fine. Now the BAD NEW'S. It's a two story hotel with NO elevator only a staircase so if you have a lot of stuff plan on at least one trip up/down. I smoke and all those rooms are on the second floor. The room was sub-par with the drapes falling off the curtain rod ,and the desk chair fabric was torn to pieces. My main concern was the LACK of a SMOKE DETECTOR in the room ( just wires hanging were it USE TO BE ) and the electrical outlets with NO ie NONE COVER PLATES ( 2 that I found )just what you would like your kid's to plug their games into right ? As far as breakfast ( I was there at 8-8:30am two days running ), the coffee is hot but not a muffin,doughnut,or crumb to be found on either morning.I don't normally write to sites such as this but a SMOKING ROOM WITH NO DETECTOR OR COVERS ON OUTLETS IS A DANGER to say the least !Sorry guys......Com-on-man!

No reservation

It was a terrible experience. They never received your reservation. They tried to put us in a room with wet carpet and smelled of bug spray. My wife had an asthma attack and so we had to leave and find another hotel on our own. Not likely to use Orbitz again.
