Cannot recommend to a friend.
Got there and the 1st room was not clean, 2nd room smelled like a cigar, was put in a handicap room. Third room couldn't get in had to reset card, fourth room was ok. Bad area of town. Continintal breakfast ok.

Pleasurable Getaway
I Was A Bit Disappointed In The Room, The Bathroom Toilet Leaked Water, And I Had To Get New Key Cards Twice Because They Kept Deactivating. Also, We Put The Do Not Disturb Sign On The Door At Night So Housekeeping Wouldn't Disturb Us So Early In The Morning, But Once We Took It Off And Went Out, Housekeeping Wouldn't Go Back By To Clean The Room, So I Had To Ask Them To Please Go Back By To Do So.

Do NOT stay here
We did not have a good experience at this hotel. When we drove into the parking lot we noticed a lot of people just walking around outside. As we entered the breeze way to our room several people were outside milling around and drinking beer out side on the stairs. About 10:30 pm the noise level was so bad we tried to call the front desk for help but no one would answer the phone. Finally we had to go outside and ask the people for some quiet. We were booked for 2 nights but did not feel safe to go back for the second night. Tried to call hotel mgmt. next day but they never returned my message. I have never written a bad review in my life on a place I have stayed but I felt this place deserved it. To end on a positive note, the room and bathroom was clean but definately not 3 stars.

Not bad for the money
Good for the price. Decent overall stay. Friendly staff. Better Staff than the Texas City one. Noise at night but staff took care of it quickly when reported.

Disappointed
From the other reviews I thought we'd have a great experience...however, hotel was right off of 1-35, our room was an adjacent room. (didn't know that when we booked it) It was locked but the people next door were loud. Thankfully they quieted down about 11:30pm. The one upside was the bed was very comfortable. We got a good night sleep...overall I'd skip this hotel...

You Get What You Pay For
Traveling through from Arkansas to West Texas and needed a place to sleep. Arived late and left early however the room was terrible. The bathroom was filthy, there were dead bugs in the room, and there were long black hairs all over the floor. The bathtub/shower had a drain issue and I had water up to mid-calf before finishing my shower. I would not recommend staying here if you have another choice.

Good for a short stay
You get exactly what you pay for nothing more, nothing less. Its good if you need a place to stay for one night. It made good use of what my fiancee and I needed, a night to ourselves away from our hectic lives. The room itself was clean. The bathroom, more specifically the shower and toilet, left something to be desired as far as cleanliness. Staff was polite but nothing spectacular.
