AmeriKSUITES at Mall Del Norte

It seemed the staff did not care to correct issues for our convenience and comfort. There was a lot of minor maintenance needed on the rooms and no one seemed motivated to attend to these.

Travelers, please DO NOT stay at this hotel, you will be extremely disappointed and in the case of our family’s trip to bury our mother, it added to the stress of our trip. I’ve since found several negative reviews online. The “manager” of this facility posts his standard reply stating his commitment to quality however those are empty words. I see there is no corporate Ameriksuites office to send my complaints to, so I will be posting this on as many travel review sites that I can find so that hopefully I can save some of you from making our mistake.

I stayed at this hotel since Hampton Inn was booked and it all i can say is BEWARE! When you walk into the lobby, it smells old. The room smelled old and with smoke even though I requested non-smoking, I had to spray body spray. The air conditioner did not work. We did not cover ourselves because it was very humid. Vending machines were all sold out, ice machine did not work, breakfast was running out by 9 and it stopped at 10:30am. Pool was dissapointing, nothing like the pictures. A waste of $100.

I enjoyed my time there at the hotel. The only thing i can think of that was missing was that the workout room needed new equipment. Compared to my other trip, I can say that it was one of my top 10 hotels that I have stayed in.

the elevator was dirty in our room we found some pants that tells u that they didn't even cleaned the room right. we had no hot water in the shower overall we will never stay again.

Under construction the restrooms....and it was a wait to be checked in.

This hotel is just a fraud. One of the reasons I chose it, was the swimming pool they advertise in the webpage, as I was travelling with my granddaughter. Actually it was complete abandoned. No cascade, freezing and dirty water and the Jacuzzi out of order. Rooms are kind of shadowy with dusty bedspreads and unclean windows. About the continental breakfast and the fitness center they include, it is a really bad joke. Unfortunately, the biggest features of this mess, which is called a hotel, are the bunch of liars and rude people that attend at the front desk. By the way, the manager did not showed up for two days and according to attendants they did not have any way to contact him..hahah.. Finally, I switched to the embassy suites nearby, and believe me, at the end of the day you will save money and employees will make you feel at home. Excellent continental breakfast served. Regards.

Staff was very helpful and treated us with courtesy. Short drive to mall. Will definitely go back again.

I purchased two rooms from Orbitz but only one was paid so I paid for the second room by credit card upon my arrival. Currently in dispute with Orbitz. With this said, the manager was most gracious and did everthing in his power to resolve the issue with Orbitz from his end. He also knows Laredo like the back of his hand and provided written instructions on how to get to my destinations while there. I highly recommend this hotel. Not so sure about Orbitz. Will see how this turns out.
