It could have been better
. Couch bed was bowed so bad one could not sleep on it. There were hairs in the shower, and the elevator broke down.

The IHOP & the Golden Corral were less than great. Texas Roadhouse and the Chilis were awesome if you wanted to drive and use the turn arounds. PIzza hut is the best if you want to stay in for the night.

Great stay in Killeen
Went to Killeen to see our son off from Fort Hood before deploying to Afghanistan. The hotel was a great place to gather. ....poolside where they had a gas grill so that we could cookout just like home or in the spacious room with a living room area. Having the kitchenette was great as well...able to make popcorn to munch on while we watched movies! The staff was wonderful...very accommodating and helpful. And the breakfast downstairs at The Gatehouse was delicious each morning. Couldn't have been any better for the money!

Best Stay Ever
The epitome of excellence! The staff was courteous and actually cared about those staying there. The maid service couldn't have been better. Our suite was very clean, well maintained and all requests were answered to immediately. We will make this our headquarters for any future stays in the Fort Hood/Killeen area.

The Cracker Barrel restaurant in the Harker Heights shopping area is the very best establishment around. The food is homestyle and extremely good. The waitstaff is wonderful in being attentive without hovering. The prices are not outrageous but very reasonable.

Great home away from home!
The room was wonderful!! Hotel commons we fantantic. I booked the room for family to stay at during a family reunion. Everyone loved the room.

Cozy Stay
This hotel is my absolute favorite whenever I come to the Killeen area. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is great. I definitely will keep coming back to this hotel.

Great Place to Stay
Walked in to find that the "room" was actually a fairly spacious Suite with full kitchen, sink, dishwasher, fridge and stove. There was a nice couch and business desk, as well as a flat screen LCD TV that can also be used as a computer monitor. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom/Shower was nicely laid out as well, and very clean. Hot water arrived promptly when I turned the spigot.

Multiple good dining available within a short drive, including Outback, Logans, Subways, Sushi, Japanese Hibachi Steakhouses, and Fast Food and Chinese Buffets. The local Subways is open 24 hours for you night owls. The breakfast buffet at the hotel, while limited, was free. The coffee was excellent.
