Not So Great
The Comfort in is not up to the competition. No elevator and musty halls. The woman at the desk at check in was less then cordial. The linens and pillows need some work. Breakfast was not up to the level of other Comfort Inns at which we have stayed. All in all we will not be going back. It was OK but that was about it.

Fredricksberg is about 20 very nice miles away and well worth the side trip.

Week end in the hill country
Generally every thing was ok. It did take two or three trys to open the outside door with the card key. It was good to have the refrigerator in the hot weather as we kept drinks there. Shower and tub drain worked fine which I find don't work half of the time in most places.

Cowboy steak house on 27 just few miles from hotel has great steaks and other menu.

Nice stay
The room was fine and the staff were very nice. Only problem was that my room was near a side-door to the outside that slammed every time it was let go, making a loud noise that woke me up several times, and was just unpleasant to hear other times.

My fav.
The best hotel experiance I have had in many years! I am sorry but I don't remember the names of the staff that where there upon my arrival but they were the best. The room was great. We had fun in the pool. I could not have enjoyed my stay more. Thank you everybody.

Fair room for a fair price
We booked a "king suite" which in reality is a king bed at the far end of the room and a sitting – living area in the middle with a really poor quality foldout couch-bed. Not exactly a suite but everything was reasonably clean, the price was ok and it was fine for one night. All in all, you get what you pay for.

Low price
The staff were very nice and helpful at all times of day. I was placed in a SMOKING room despite requests to the contrary, and the sign on the door even said non smoking. The odor was awful. Good breakafast with OUTSTANDING coffee.

Clean room, good breakfast
The hotel was nice. Clean room, great sheets and linens, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. Although we did not use the pool, it looked great and others seemed to enjoy it alot. I think we could have gotten a better price by just calling the hotel direct and used our AARP discount. Oh well, next time. Kerrville is a great little place and the Museum of Western Art is fantastic! Don't miss out on the Arts while you are there.

Don't miss the Museum of Western Art. It is a lovely museum and even has a terrific area for kids. It is a jewel for Kerrville. Kerrville is a great place for the Arts!

Just Enough for a Good Night
King bed suite was ideal with my preschooler on the sofa pullout. Wished there was a door to pull closed; I couldn't watch TV to relax because it kept him awake. Luby's buffet was next door - thank heavens for jello to make a little guy happy. We had the pool and Jacuzzi to ourselves. Breakfast was fine...annoying tiny to-go coffee cups, but hot waffles to compensate.
