Okay but not great.

The spa was open and hot, the pool was freezing as would be expected in early December even in Dallas. The van picked us up at the airport in good time and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: This is a real budget hotel, it's seen better days. Pros: Clean towels and sheets everyday. The room was actually a suite, with Kitchenette/Front room and a separate King bedroom with a door. That made it much nicer when my traveling partner wanted to watch TV into the night. Bottom line: You get what you pay for. If my friend was okay with a budget hotel I'd recommend this.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Denny's is just on the other side of the overpass. It's the only affordable option that you can walk to.

The hotel was close to the airport. They have a shuttle that picks you up and takes you to the dallas airport. We were surprised that the hotel had a pool.

Quality Inn & Suites - NO HOT WATER!

attend Nascar race. NO HOT WATER! Called customer service desk 3 times!!! did not some any to check. Other family that we traveled with also did not have hot water. We were on 2nd floor, they were on 3rd. While at front desk, also overhead another customer state no hot water and also complaint about bugs in the bed. Previously stayed at this hotel due to the location but more than likely will stay else where next time.
