Red Roof Inn Dallas DFW Airport North

The room was clean. No flat screen TVs in the rooms. One of the front desk clerks had some difficulty speaking English. Wifi reception was very weak and slow. Close to the airport and convenient.

This motel is nothing special, but if you stay you're probably not looking for anything special. An affordable place to crash for the night.

When we checked in, the women at the counter gave us the room key but never gave the directions. We had difficult time finding out the room and also it was raining making things worse. The room had a smell which I wouldn't describe as bad but not good either. After we went into the room and after opening our bags and relaxing we realized Heater was not working. When we called the front desk, they said they had no one to come look at and we had to pack our stuff and come to front desk and they will give us a different room. Also the insulation was so bad that someone showering next door would wake you up. Overall we did not like our experience at the hotel and would not like to go there again. We have statyed at other red roof inn properties and were pretty happy with them, but that changed after this.

The room was decent and clean - pretty good for the cost. On the second night when I returned to the room my key card didn't work. I had to walk outdoors, in the cold, to the lobby. They fixed the card, but offered no apology or explanation. The free breakfast consists of coffee with powdered creamer, crunchy granola bars, and apples. By 8am, most of the apples remaining had very obvious holes or rotten spots.

My stay was superb based on my travel schedule,I found the hotel quite adequate for short stays, a bit of a wait at the airport on arrival ,but shuttle driver was quite efficient there after.

It was a decent room. The beds were a little hard for comfort and so I had trouble getting to sleep and staying to sleep. Looked like paint chipping in the bathtub area on the ceiling, touch up paint would make the bathroom more presentable. Also there was tape that was holding the carpet down in a corner. Overall, it was a good room. Good location from airport. Surprisingly the planes did not keep us up. Wished they had offered a better breakfast as opposed to granola bars. I would recommend the hotel to a friend if they are looking for something inexpensive.

There was a bad smell in the room and the heater was making an annoying noise during night. I couldn't sleep at all.

A no trills hotel - safe, nice staff and close to the airport.

For the price and convenience this motel fits the bill. If you are squeamish about location and upgrades this is not the place for you. Our flight left out very early in the morning and we arrived a little late in the evening so we only had a few hours in the room for sleeping. The room was clean, the AC kinda quiet, and a shuttle available at 3:30 in the morning. The price was great and if we wanted to eat there was a Denny's next door. All in all for our needs this was the right choice.

Hotel was convenient to the airport, in nice shape, and room was remodeled and very comfortable. There was a very long wait for the shuttle which was very frustrating (45+ minutes), then the shuttle was severely overloaded and there was no mention of the inconvenience or comfort level (not to mention safety...). The shuttle service has to be good, because taxi's at DFW have a $25 min. which is unrealistic for a hotel 2 miles away...
