Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham DFW Airport North

Location was good, room was clean, staff was friendly. But, the room given to us was not the suite configuration we had reserved. The staff indicated the suit type we had reserved was unavailable even though our written reservation specified that type.

The first room I got was a wreck. There was hair all over the tile floor. The toliet seat was broke and toliet paper holder was falling off the wall. The sheets have been bleached so much they had burn marks on them. The room apperently hasn"t been dusted in a while becasue there where dead nats on the furniture. The bed is shoved in a corner leaving a very small walk space to get into the bathroom. The second room they gave me wasn't much better. The hotel overall is a dump and way over priced.

Bad reception staff, bad food, bad hours (no breakfast for early departures - couldn't they have left out coffee, packaged muffins, bananas?). Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Front desk staff was untrained, not knowledgeable, gave wrong information and couldn't multitask at all. We were kept waiting for long periods of time, just to have basic questions answered. The food was horrible, not fresh, very limited, not available early enough on weekend. I would not use Hawthorn Suites again, for any price. Pat S.

The hotel is right next to the airport. It backs up to a semi trailer transfer parking lot. The room was recently refurbished. It is clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast in the morning was adequate and the happy hour treats were welcome.

I loved the location of this place being close to the airport. However, there were some problems with the amenities in our room and getting it cleaned. The dishwasher didn't work for one, and the maids didn't speak any English so our room didn't get cleaned. When I called the front desk there was nothing they could do because "housekeeping was gone", and the only room they had avail was a smaller room... I just think they should have more staff and staff that speaks Engilsh working to understand guest!!

Everything was better than expected. great rom, great breakfast, helpful shuttle driver.

Close to the airport but halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth. Without a car made touring difficult. However, the free hotel shuttle bus akes patrons to any destination within a five mile radius. This included two shopping malls and over 50 restaurants as well as the Grapevine Vintage Railway which went to Stockyards - perhaps the best toyrist location. The full breakfast daily was fantastic and the rooms were huge.

The hotel is good only for business travelers. No restaurant on site so you would have to order in or go out to eat. I had to wait for more than half hour to be picked up from the airport.
