Trying to find someone who cares
Really bad service
It was a terrible experience. I wasn't exactly sure where the hotel was so I called the hotel. The guy that answered sounded put out and didn't sound like he cared. The directions he gave me were not even close. He said to drive up north on Beltline 5 or 10 minutes and it is on the right. So I drove around for 15 - 20 minutes back and forth on Beltline. Stopped to ask if anyone knew where hotal was - nobody did. I called the hotel back approx 15 times and no one answered the phone. wandered around for another 20 minutes looking...and it is almost midnight by now. [...] It wasn't 5-10 minutes up Beltline. It wasn't even on Beltline. It was 5 minutes up Beltline, take a right, go a mile, take another right, go through a neighborhood, take another right and there it is off the road. I would have never found it with his directions. I lost an hour looking for the place. his directions were worse than bad and how can you not answer the phone if I call 15 times. Pathetic. and lastly, no channel changer:(

Good place to rest your weary head
Used the hotel while visiting various friends and family in Irving and surrounding areas. Great bargain. Staff is friendly. We tend to stay at this particular hotel when in the area because of the low cost yet nice rooms.

Great Location With Maintenance Issues
The hotel is next door to a Church of Christ. So not a noisey neighbor. 1/2 block from main road so no road noisey. The front desk clerk at check in was not very personable. Plenty of great restaurants, shopping and mall near by. Room 202, clean presentable, nice smelling, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, good water pressure and no bed bugs. So I get all ready for bed then notice that the room is a hot 81 and the ac is not working. Too tired to move to another room. I had to wash some clothes, dryer doesn't work very well and owner can't afford to have it repaired. Continental breakfast was scary, almost rotten bannanas, no plates, waffle batter tasted and smelt funky, juice machine broken and Tang is not orange juice. Everything was sticky and manager did not seem to be concerned about it.

Is what it is
I stayed at this hotel based on the price for a suite and distance from the airport and friends that reside near Arlington. The location was great for me traveling between Dallas and Ft Worth. There is a mall within walking distance and plenty of casual dining. There were minor issues: the key card didn't work well at the exterior entrances and the iron was broken. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was on the job! Overall I had a very good experience until my flight was cancelled and I returned to stay another night. No one was at the front desk. I waited for over ten minutes ringing the bell and calling on the phone. No luck...so I had to take my business elsewhere.

I stay here a lot. Here's why.
Whenever I need to stay overnight in the DFW area, I stay here. For the price of a 1-star Motel 6, I get a 3-star room suite with kitchen and a living room with its own TV. It's always been clean, comfortable, and quiet. Friendly staff, too.

Great value,
This hotel was conveniently located in the DFW metroplex. It's close to shopping and between both airports. Many features including microwave, refrigerator, sink, storage ...a full kitchen. It also was very quiet and the parking was ample and convenient. Only three criticisms. The hotel was hard to find, esp. at night, as you could not see the signs from the frontage Road and it was set back about 2 blocks. Only other criticism was that the shower curtain was stained. This could easily be corrected with a little extra cleaning. So overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being best. I highly recommend it, esp. if you are having an extended stay, and/or want the use of a kitchen in your unit.

You get what you pay for
The room was spacious. Partly due to the lack of furniture. The Kitchen was fine and stocked with enough to get by. The bedding was old, frayed, and ill fitting. The air conditioner leaked water on to the carpet. This was twice reported and never taken care of. We stayed away from the wet area. The couch was a pull out bed type. The cushions did not fit making the couch very uncomfortable to sit on (too small). We peaked under the cushions and it looked like it had not been cleaned or vacuumed for some time (very grose). The Exercise room and Business Center were OK. The Breakfast was OK.
