Extended Stay Deluxe - Dallas - Las Colinas - Green Park Dr.

I went to Dallas on business and needed a more reasonably priced location to stay than the location of my conference. I chose the Extended Stay in Las Colinas for that reason.

Hi , Most of chain restaurants are very close by to this hotel - just half a mile walk which was very good. Room was clean but hotel staff was a bit casual and less professional. Also , it was a bit weird that they had two buildings and my room got allotted in second building ( away from reception ) and nobody can enter in that building without room keys. It is good for safety but you have to come down every time if somebody comes to see you.

I was very disappointed in the room. The staff was very nice and the room setup was nice. The room was very noisy because the A/C was very loud and the refrigerator kept making loud noises. The toilet keep flushing on it's own and was wasting water. The kitchen did not have enough supplies. I would have requested another room if I was going to stay more than the one night. I reported all the problems to the front desk when I checked out.

I reserved a non smoking room, the whole floor I was on was smoking, the only thing that made my room non smoking was a sign on the tv cabinet. However there were ashtrays in the cabinets, the smell gave me a headache. The gormet breakfast was coffee, and bagels. That does not qualify as gormet. The last day I had to take a cold water shower, the whole building was without hot water, at 7AM comeon! They had van service to anywhere within 5 miles, however the driver does not know the area and was lost three blocks away. As you can guess this is the last time I will stay at any Extended Stay hotel.

This was my first experience with an Extended Stay property, and I was staying for 1 night and the decision was based on price and brand recognition. Though the staff was courteous I had the feeling they were recruited from the fast food industry. The lobby was nice but it went downhill from there. The fitness center consisted of a treadmill, stiarclimber and recumbent bike. The pool was postage stamp size. The rooms were a bit dingy. When I asked for assistance from the desk staff it was surreal.
