Nice Stay at Westin in Houston

My short 2 night stay at the Westin in Houston was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel had been recommended by a co-worker who travels to Houston often and I am glad I listened. The hotel is new so it is very clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming without being cheesy. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet (you do not hear any noise from the neighboring room). The hotel is located in a nice part of Houston with plenty of restaurants just a short drive away. There is also a cafe in the hotel on the third floor which serves Starbucks coffee and breakfast, which is great as you run out the door for work. The only negative experience I had at the hotel was at their restaurant, where the food was rather disappointing especially at that price point.

shopping trip

the restaurant was great, and the beds were excellent but the room was for handicap so we had trouble with the shower. The phones wasn't working and the bell boys service wasn't great also. I didn't recommend this hotel for the price.
