Sun Suites at Intercontinental

This hotel is extremely out of date, the room smelled like mildew. The remote control had no batteries, when you turned on the bathroom light it made so much noise that you had to turn it off to avoid hurting your ears. Never will stay here again

This hotel was noisy. some people hanging around the rooms, outside on the walk ways drinking beer and smoking. Some people live there and didn't go to bed til 2:30am. the noise started again at 6:30am on a Sunday morning. You could hear people talking thru the walls.(thin walls)

The staff was helpful and even offered to mapquest a destination for us. The room was out of date and the furniture was old and worn out, howevere, seemed clean enough. There was a coffee maker but no coffee! Only one bar of soap was supplied for both the bath and the sink. Probably won't stay there again.

Would have liked room service every day (there was none). Trash built up and had to find a trash bin outside. Highway noise was a little loud but bearable. If you have noisy neighbors (loud TV, voices, etc) you will hear it, especially if the room is above yours. Great location for what we needed to do. Kitchen was a money saver as we could heat and cook simple meals and restaurant leftovers.

We sought a quiet motel at which we could rest during interspaces of a hectic wedding weekend. Sun Suites was quiet, clean, and adequate as a place to stay and to base operations. Some of our criticism stems from expectations we have learned to expect from the motel industry. For example, to how many motels do you bring your own soap? Yet, Sun Suites did not provide soap until we asked for it. And when we asked for soap, a motel employee made rude remarks at being summoned to the desk at 11 pm. One does not expect motel management to excoriate guests for ordinary requests. The motel would have been nicer with a pool. Perhaps I misunderstood the booking website we used, but I thought the motel had a pool. The booking website gave us a further problem by finalizing a charge to our credit card with a no-cancellation-possible clause, even though we tried to cancel within an hour after booking, even tough this was a week before our trip. The price was rather more than we expected for what we received. Management was kind enough to fulfil a request we phoned after booking to obtain a ground-floor room.

We had a real bad experience because they would come for room services unless you stay a week or more. Had to come get your own towels. Could not get clean sheets and no pots to cook with in the kitchen. just overall for a suite we were not satisfied at all and will not be returning. And the beds are small.

the room was not ready they told me to wait 15min housekeeping was just getting to the room. At check-in their was a guest that came in complaining about a bee hive and that he and another guest gotten stung. The lady did have no concern. The carpet in the room was very dirty. The bed was hard you can feel the springs. They only gave us towels for one day and we was booked for five days. Their was no iron or board. I did not stay. I will not stay here again.
