cheap motel
It's a cheap motel at a rough neighborhood. I would not recommend this place for family with kids. Does not seem like a safe place to stay. Teenagers always sitting on the balcony.

You get what you pay for
When I first got there the smell in the room was so bad! Housekeeping didn't come until exactly SEVEN DAYS after I had been there. The people next door had a bunch of kids and three pitbulls it was always noisy. I had to keep going down to the main office to get my own towels. In a week nobody bothered to even come pick up the trash which after a week smelled and was piled up. Because of this everyone had trash bags sitting outside their rooms. The only reason I stayed so long was I already pre- booked and paid. The front desk people were nice and professional. But other than that I was disappointed as I typically like motel 6 and extended stay facilities.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Waffle house and Cici's pizza which are my two favorite places were right down the street. Whataburger also was on the strip along with Texas Roadhouse which had a good steak.

A Stinky Sweat Box
I went to Houston Texas due to a family emergency. It was after 8:00 pm when I arrived, and the office was closed; but I knew that because I had previously spoken to the office manger. However, he instructed me to use the phone to call and someone would come right away. I stayed outside at night about 15 minutes after I had spoken to the person on the phone; for a man to come & tell me I had to wait until 9:00 pm before he could service me. The Hotel Room: The smell was like they had mopped with dirty water. The carpet was dingy I did not feel comfortable walking bare feet. The kitchen appeared to be clean, however the skillet was burnt with something and I saw a roach fleeing behind the counter. I pull back the comforter, and the sheets looked clean, however, the pillows had this terrible smell like a sweat box. I had to take my clothes and put over the pillow in order to get through the night. The next morning, I went to Walmart bought new pillows, sheets, and covering, cleaning supplies to clean the place. Bathroom had a constant smell probably from upstairs. The tub was dingy. This is the worst room I have ever stayed in, and If you read this when you see Studio 6 run for your life!

[*] Bad Beds
Looks nice and pretty during the day. [*]The bedsprings were popping thru the mattress. Paying for wifi was disappointing since most hotels offer it for free.I've stayed in crummier hotels/motels and had it better than this place.

Nice for the price
It was exactly what we expected it to be. We were there for the Old Town Spring Springfest, and needed a place to sleep, and that's what it was. Great price, good bed, nicely supplied if we'd thought to bring our food and all with us. It's a small studio type room for long stays, and i'd say it'd fit that bill nicely.
