And friend of mine and I had a day trip from Dallas to Houston for an event. I love SpringHill Suites. Every location I've been to (one in Dallas and one in Orlando) has always been beautifully decorated, clean and friendly. We stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds and honestly there was enough room in there that at least 2 more people could have stayed comfortably. The hotel was quiet. I was surprised at how many people came down for the free (and delicious) continental breakfast, because you certainly couldn't tell by the noise. SpringHill Suites will always be my first choice hotel here on out.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Frenchy's is a fried chicken fast food place. There's one off of 45, which is about 5 minutes or so away, but go for the one that's in Downtown Houston. The extra 5 minutes it will take to get there is worth it.

The good and the bad
The staff was great.A guest let me have his king room and he took my room .If not I would not have stayed there . When I booked the room I was told that a king was more and I agreed to pay the extra,but was given double queen.Not what I ask for. [...]
