The staff including the manager was "unaware" of the pool being closed. When I asked for a return call regarding if the pool ... was going to open any time during our trip the hotel manager told me that she was too busy assisting guest to talk with me even though I should have been treated as important seeing as I was a guest. Later when I went down in person the manager admitted that she was lying to me about being "unaware" of the pool closure and said that they have been waiting for the city to come inspect the pool for awhile. Besides the pool there is NOTHING to do or nothing around to do. Another group of family members came and were having trouble with the same manager checking in. She would not give any of us her name nor the correct number for Sheraton customer service. When I told her that I was getting irritated and was ready to cancel all the rooms we had reserved, she stated "That's fine." I will NOT stay at this hotel again and I will question ALL Sheraton Hotels if this is the quality of their management staff. The Bell Staff was the most helpful when we asked questions. The concierge wasn't friendly or helpful when we asked what to do/see or where to eat.

The Hotel has excelent location Its wal.king distance to The Galeria Mall , many good restaurantes arround and withing the ... Galeria WE always stay at that Hotel and we recommend it 100%

I had a need to use the hotel's shuttle service. I was displeased with the way the hotel ran this. There was a communication ... gap between the front desk staff and the bell hop service that ran the shuttle resulting in poor service.

one night stay. excellent bed. excellent room decor. excellent atmosphere. good water pressure. in-room fridge and ... coffee maker. Every staff member we met was very helpful and nice. No free parking, toothpaste, DVD player, or breakfast. It is October and the weather is colder...I wish they heated the outside pool more. The only restaurant in the hotel that I noted was "omaha steakhouse" or something near that name. I ddin't check it out. there may have been more restaurants, but maybe only one more. I didn't try room service as it was pricey as expected. the view from the room we had was of the highway and some other conference centers/hotels....not a bad view, not an exceptionally good view...but that is a function of the location. I didn't get to check out the Galleria mall complex, but it is supposed to be a HUGE place.

Yia Yia Mary's is an amazing Greek Cuisine family restaurant...about a half mile away from the hotel. the best hummus and pita ever. great greek salads.

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Staff was accomadating. The area was beautiful and within walking ... distance of a few shops. Having the pool area in the same area as the parking garage does take away from privacy so if you're shy about swimming in few of others to or from the parking garage you'll need to get over that fast.

If you'd like to go to the mall, it's just a few minutes from the hotel. Also, there are a few nice resturants (i.e. Thai & other dining places) near the movie theatre which is only minutes away.
