The hotel is not fantastic, nor will it blow you away, but for the price, it is quite fantastic, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Everything I needed, I didn't even need to ask for, they had it all right there.

Make do location
Hotel is clean and the rooms. Everything is VERY BASIC. There's nothing in the rooms at all to tell you what the hotel has and where (like ice, vending machines, what's nearby). If you are there just to have someplace to stay overnight, it will do.

Good stop over from the airport
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, changed our room reservation without any additional charges or hassle. They provided transportation to and from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay when flying out of Houston.

We ate at the "Good Times" restaurant in the Holiday Inn, just up the road and open late. It was good food and close to the hotel.

Cheap and Comfortable
I needed a cheap hotel room on a short overnight stay near the hotel. It was easy with their shuttle service, the room was comfortable. I expected it to be kind of dirty due to the price, but it was clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was simple, but more than adequate!

GREAT VALUE
I STAYED AT THE OXFORD INN ONE NIGHT. IT WAS GREAT EXPERIENCE. NICE CLEAN ROOM, COMFORTABLE BED, VERY HELPFUL STAFF,FREE Complimentary BREAK FAST EVERY THING WORK OUT. I will definitely go back.

Horrible Experience
Horrible Experience!
We arrived around 11pm and our room smelled like urine.They had available rooms on the 3rd floor BUT they had not turned on the ac on the entire floor and it took several hours to cool down, it was 100 degrees outside. There was a broken window in our room and the toilet had rust stains. Carpet was heavily stained, soda machine was broken and we had to go to front desk for cold drinks. Even though we had to wait in the lobby for our rooms to cool down, they made us give them $1 per can of soda. For our trouble, you would think they would at least give us a complimentary soda??? We asked for a refund so that we could just go to another hotel instead of wait hours for our room to cool down but they said no [...]!!!! It was 2 am before we were able to cool the room down and I had 2 small children with me. Next morning, extra watery OJ and Waffles but NO SYRUP, they ran out but I guess they were too lazy to go a block down the street to the store and get more. BAD BAD BAD! PS, I never give feedback on these things but it was so bad that I just HAD to!!!

Layover done well
This was a layover before catching another flight out to Hawaii. The ride to/from the airport was very efficient (even with a late arrival) and the staff very helpful to get us in and back out.
