Quality Inn & Suites

I was glad to find a hotel near our conference that was much more reasonable. Instead of staying 2 nights, we were able to stay 5 for the same money. Also,for those who are interested, we had a smoking room. Not a lot of hotels in the area allow that anymore. I also got a handicapped room, so I did not have to straing my back (back condition) hanging up clothes or anything. Also, it was back off of the main street, which eliminated the street noice. (Drive connects to main road). Not the newest property, but for the most part it was clean and well maintained. Maid turned off the A/C while we were gone during the day and it took a while to catch up, but was adequate A/C for the 98+ temps and late afternoon thunderstorms. Storm damage and landscapers put lost of leaves in pool 2 days and day before we left, but staff was cleaning up when we checked out. Not too many people there when we were during the week, so we had the pool to ourselves a lot. That was GREAT! I was able to swim laps and had no kids playing games or splashing us. Coffee maker in room was for 1-2 cups but breakfast room had plenty and GOOD coffee. Also had cereal, pre-packaged pastries and one of those wonderful hotel waffle makers. Also fruit, juice and bagels with toppings. Good selection for a free breakfast. Hot & cold water backwards from label on shower, so my husband thought it was out of hot water first morning. Once I figured it out in the sink, hot water was plentiful for whole stay. Convenient to fast food, grocery stores, NICE restaurants, and in-between.
