Motel 6 Houston Westchase

The hotel is in a good location and the staff were very nice, the rooms not so much. Noisy A/C and not ver comfortable beds. This hotel could use an update.

I stay 4 nights each week in Houston on business and have stayed in several budget hotels while I search for something more permanent. I consider myself a fairly savvy traveler and was fully aware when making my reservation at Motel6 that you only get what you pay for. My expectations were therefore not particularly high, but nothing prepared me for my recent experience. The motel is conveniently located making access to down town, energy corridor and airports easy for the business traveler. Unfortunately the standard of maintenance and housekeeping are poor at best. The bed in my room collapsed almost nightly, The thermostat was broken so the room was unpleasantly cold, especially in the mornings, the Air Conditioner was noisy and ran continuously, the towels were so small and old it took two to dry off following a shower, and while it was a no smoking room there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke in the corridor every time you opened the door. While this motel appears to be good value for money once you add the additional $3 per night for WiFi access there are several better value options available in much safer areas.

Very small room with single bed, room was clean wifi is unsecured, we showed up at the parking lot and it look like a drug deal was going down, however it was fine, very close to entertainment and shopping, would stay there again - good value but nothing fancy

I needed an affordable hotel close to downtown Houston while I was visiting the city for one night. The staff were courteous and helpful, my room was very clean and organized and that... is really all I needed. No complaints with my stay.

Everything was OK exept I have to pay 3 dollers for the internet and the conection was not stable at all.

The hotel was clean and the rooms had laminate floors, which was nice since it was so hot that weekend. Since we brought our puppy it was cool to have such a pet friendly hotel. The staff was great! The nicest part of the hotel is it is enclosed so you have to use your room key to get inside and they had security onsite, felt really good abou staying there. Thanks for keeping the light on! Stayed just one night but the room was very clean and the bathroom was quite spacious.

I try to keep my travel expenses as low as possible. With this hotel you dont sacrfice quality for price. I did have a few issues. TV didn't show pictures clearly (in their defense; I never complained about it either). I love the fact that they had an Iron; however, I am disappointed that they did not have an ironing board.Our room was nice and quiet.

The room was exceptionally clean. I was especially pleased that they have replaced the musty smelling carpets you get in most motel rooms with hardwood floors, so the room even smelled clean. The location was perfect for my needs in Houston, asI needed to be near Wilcrest and Westheimer that weekend. The price could not be beat. I was extremely satisfied. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Check in was a breeze, parkinf was easy, and the room was perfect. Though the rooms aren't as large as some, I travel on my own, and don't need a lot of space. For the price, I doubt one could find a better stay.
