No complaints!

I found the room clean, the staff friendly and accomodating. It did get a bit noisy on Friday evening, but nothing to actually complain about. I would stay there again on my next trip to Houston.

Good clean hotel

Location was good and shuttle was great for the Rodeo BBQ, staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, room and free breakfast were average, internet speed was very slow.

It'll do.

The room was average. A little used. But fine and comfortable. The freeway is close by and when you come from outside the city this can seem extra loud. Staff was friendly. There are lots of fast food and sit-down dining close by and it was easy access to 610.

Trip to Houston

The people at the front desk didn't respect that I had asked for a first floor room because I have a medical condition and can't climb stairs or walk very far. They didn't care!!!!

greatlocation, poor detail

Close to Texas Medical Center. Two room lights wee out; microwave did not work properly; top of microwave was filthy; TV remote needed batteries; elevator was out and I was on third floor; I have had better breakfasts at Motel 6; was a $65 place for twice that.

Ice station zebra-Houston style

The location is ideal for the shows I work at the Reliant Ctr.The air conditioner in my room worked a little too good ! I have a thermometer on my travel alarm clock and it was 60 degrees in my room when I got in that evening after having left the a/c on low while gone. The tv,microwave and refrigerator all worked very well. The beds were fairly comfortable. The bathroom had several mystery stains that would not wipe off !? On the sink and tub. The shower did not work too well at all, and don't you hate it when the old funky shower curtain touches you, who knows whats on that. It was so old the La Quinta logo and letters were faded out ! Hey LA Quinta how about getting a new one !

Nice Hotel

It is off the beaten path for some areas. However, aside from a little noise from high way traffic it was a fine hotel. I was worried about staying at a hotel with outside access, but most of the people who stayed there were friendly and I felt safe. I was attending a conference at Rice University, which was about ten minutes away. I give it a thumbs up.

There is a walmart off of the 610 loop. I felt it was a little hard to get there. There are a few restaurants in the area but not a great deal of choice. The roads are easy to move through town that gives you more access to stores and restaurants.

Moist and musty room

We like the location of this hotel, since it is relatively close the the medical center, but without the medical center prices. However, the longer we stayed there, the more moist and dank and musty the room got. A problem with ventilation or something. It wasn't particularly clean either. The La Quinta over on the Southwest Freeway (I-59) is newly renovated and a much cleaner, though the rooms are smaller and there's no pool.
