Friendly staff
Staff were on top of all our needs with having a small child. Room was very clean. Quiet during the night so we did not have to put up with closing doors all evening. Nice courtyard and pool. Only downfall is the bed was a little hard in my opinion. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Good hospitality.
Staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel needs repairs. I saw MANY things that were simple fixes. Was little concerned that even w/ my door shut you could see through a crack between door and doorframe into room. Toilet paper holder was very loose, electrical outlet plate wasn't flush against wall and showed big gap. To me it was a pride thing- simple things that could be fixed. Bathtub drain closes during shower and can't be opened except by hand. I had almost a foot of water in tub before I finished. There were others but too many to list. On the bright side: we ordered take out and forgot eating utensils. I called the desk and they said they would give us some. Hotel offers a shuttle to nearby locations. Without a car it would have been expensive to call taxi but the shuttle took me and picked me up when I wanted them too. Very helpful. Nice sized desk and desk chair. Very comfortable.

LOL at breakfast they offer waffles.. you MUST spray BOTH sides of the waffle maker for it to come out!! Many people didn't and it was a chore to get it out. But the staff came over to help.

Nice place to stay
Very adequate rooms with nice amenities. Quiet & location near our destination. Staff was pleasant & accommodating!

Lupe Tortilla's Mexican restaurant is just across Highway 6 and is a great place for food & drinks. Will be crowded on the weekends, but worth the wait.

Old and out dated
This hotel is very old and outdated. The room was clean however the fridge did not work and hasn't worked for sometime. The bed/mattress also showed signs of major use and the so call recliner chair also showed major signs of ware. I was very disappointed and will not stay at this La Quinta hotel again.

La Quinta stay
Our stay at the LaQuinta in Houston was a wonderful experience. The front desk help was very friendly and accomodating. They even offered to begin their comlimentary breakfast service early to accomodate our schedule! The hot tub, located in the tropical pool area setting, was a wonderful treat at the end of our day. I would definately stay here again.

La Qunita review
Overall great experience. Location was outstanding with access from Katy Freeway and from back road on Grisby. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was great and extensive with cereals, muffins, toast, bagels, juices, milk, coffee, tea and waffles. Only issue was that they missed cleaning our room one day for some reason. By the time we returned and discovered the problem, the cleaning staff had left, but one of the other staff brought clean towels, picked up the trash, and got us more shower supplies.

not many places nearby, but we found a place called the lasagna house at westheimer and elridge that had outstanding lasagna and pasta. also found a bbq place in the same plaza that was really good too

Good price
I was suprised that the hotel room did not offer a microwave or fridge but other than that the pool and the room were both nice. The location is ok, it it right off the highway but there's always a LOT of construction going on in Houston so it caused a few problems getting in and out. But overall, it was a good hotel.

Short drive from hotel
There's plenty of restaurants down HWY 6 and westheimer is not far if you're looking to go out for the night. There's plenty to do in houston! I'd recommend going to the Rainforest Cafe at the Katy Mills mall if you have kids, they'd love it!
