- El Tiempo
- Tip: Happy hour at the bar, Monday-Friday from 3pm until 7pm. No visit to Houston would be complete without experiencing authentic Tex-Mex food. If you're craving Mexican and a good Margarita, El Tiempo is your place.

Gold hotel but not extraordinary
it is a good, luxury hotel but the staff is not very well trained. On check in they wanted to give me an inferior room and I had to talk to the manager. On check out they tried to charge me the full amount, disregarding the fact that it was prepaid. A lot of problems to rent a small conference room. Apart from this, a good hotel.

Better for business travel
Quiet. Rooms were small and room service seemed limited as compared to my previous stays. Maybe its just better for business travel. But close enought to the Galleria for easy shopping.

Enjoyable
I will have to admit that I really did enjoy my stay. The room was immaculate and large enough for just me. I can't complain as it was very comfortable. Being a 4 star hotel, I expected that the restaurant would be somewhat pricey, but the food was very good. Also, don't be fooled into thinking the contents of the mini-bar are complimentary. They are not, but it is nice to know that you have refreshments available for your convenience if you feel the need. My stay was for two days and although being in and out the first day, I was in the room for most of the second day. I had a very comfortable stay, but my only real complaint is the price of parking. I thought it was a little high.

Nice hotel. But I can not tell what is the difference between Standard room & King Superior room. They look the same to me. Other than that, the hotel is real nice and close to shopping & Dinning district.
