Hyatt North Houston

Very nice, clean & roomy. Free wifi internet in room, Starbucks coffee available in hotel's cafe for a reasonable price. Houston is a big city, there is nothing nearby the hotel in walking distance. You need a car there.

Handicapped parking was down a steep ramp and up stairs - completely unaccessable. No valet as alternative. First room was suppoed to be non-smoking but smelled like a casino. Second room was okay, but housekeeping did not do much - did not even ensure we had clean dishes or kleenex. Restaurant was marginal and over-priced, but wait staff was great. Will not be back.

I always stay at this location since is 5 min away from my meetings, never had a reason not too. They are undergoing renovations in the lobby, i think is going to look pretty nice.. never heard a single noise from the room..

the hotel was under going a renovation to become a Hyatt hotel. The staff was very friendly. We arrived before noon so we were afraid we would have to wait until 3PM for normal checkin. I told them we wanted to go get lunch. They told us they would call as soon as the room was ready. One hour later we received our call. The room was as clean as any I have ever stayed in. Great location right off the highway.

food was a little pricey but was very good. restaurant staff was very friendly. room was clean. one night the air vent started making a terrible noise that woke me up at 3:30am. I called the front desk, it took 30 min to send someone to check it. by the time they came it stopped. I still don't know what it was but it didn't happen again.

This was a convenient stop for us near the airport with a shuttle from and back to the airport. The hotel was lovely. Very quiet the night we were there. We arrived late and were thankful that we were able to still able to get something to eat right on the premises.

Overall a good stay. On the day of our checkout maid service came at 9:00 and tried to open our door which woke us up when we planned to sleep in which was kind of annoying. Otherwise it was a good hotel. Not in the nicest part of Houston but it was located close to our place of business.

Check in what a little unorganized. There there three (3) individuals at the front, but only one (1) was offering to help several people check in. The gentleman offered only after I asked was there someone that could assist my husand and myself to get checked in. The restaurant\bar was very nice and bar tender quite entertaining. Room was clean and provided all Amenities needed.

When reserving the hotel I had no clue it was in the [*] area of Houston so that was not good. My first impression was already not good, so I expected the worst- but overall the hotel staff was nice, the inside of hotel was OK but the bathroom was not clean to my satisfaction but I guess you get what you pay for. I wish they had free breakfast and that probably would have made it just a tad bit better! It was OK overall.
