Flying lady
My view
The over all experance was very good. Only orbiz gave me a smoking room and the hotel does not have smoking rooms. The resturant was not open due to low room rental. We were able to have the resturant menu in the bar. Over all I would go back only expecting these issues.

The nice dinning room is only open when hotel is highly booked. The hotel is often not fully booked on the week-end due to it being so near the medical center.

Wonderful
We participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Chili Cook-Off. We cooked for over 2000 people in 3 days so a place to REST at night was mandatory at our age! The hotel was Marriott perfect as usual. Super quiet, all electrics worked! Shower was awesome! Only reason for not having a 5ht star was I waited for 1/2 hour for the bell hop to bring a luggage cart and when we went to look for him he was in the drive and said he forgot and handed us the cart to take ourselves. Very minor issue and definitely recommend!

Worst stay ever
This was vey disappointin for a 4 star hotel. The air conditioner did not work the it was very noisy. I have stayed in better 2 star hotels. I would not go back to this hotel. My choice would be to stay in a Holiday Inn in the future....

Ordinary hotel
The hotel was OK...nothing special. But it was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly. The room rate posted on our room door showed the regular rate at $449. It was not nearly nice enough to rate a price like that. But it was fine for the Orbitz price I paid.
