So disappointed!
Dirty bathtub???!!!!!
I was very pleased at check-in. The staff was so extremely nice! The room was roomy and nice. Later that night when I went to take a shower... surprise, surprise... the tub was dirty... hairy. After gagging, really, I went to the store and got bathroom cleaner and cleaned it myself...What a disappointment! [...]Absolutely terrible. If I ever make it back to Houston.... I won't be staying there! Come to think of it.. this has rather put me 'off' on Marriot altogether.

Little Old Hotel
THe hotel its a little bit old, but all good, we had free transportation from the Hotel to near sites less than 3 miles ( Target, The Galleria Mall,and lots more) until 9 pm wich was great!!

sold out of guaranteed king bed rooms
late check in. cleck said only double beds availalbe. had to insist on search for king bed - as reseved and guaranteed on reservation.

Fire alarm activated by shower steam
Too sensitive the fire alarm as it got activated by the shower steam. Parking space was charge although we just stayed for a couple of min in the valet area.

Family Fun Stay!
I had to be in Houston for an event. We chose a hotel with an indoor pool to keep it fun for our 3 children (ages 3,4&5) It was to rain that weekend and my husband would be watching the kids so we decided that an indoor pool would be great! And it was! The rooms were clean, the staff were so warm and friendly to our children. For a two day trip they had so much fun! My husband enjoyed the conveniences of the hotel restaurant and the pool. We used the special offer to have kids eat free for an additional $20 and we got that money back at our first meal!

The good
The Hotel's Decipline avoids us of our required flexibility to feed our kid. For example it was difficult to prepare a mixed food with milk for the kid to use at the room. The class of the Hotel was good but they didn't have free internet at the rooms while we usualy have such services in many Hotels even with lower Stars.

"nice atmosphere, good location"
I stayed at the Marriott while visiting friends. It's a great location and nice atmosphere. The one negative thing, is that the walls are thin so I could hear the conversation going on in the room next to me. I booked this hotel very last minute and felt that the price was affordable.

weekend getaway
Overall this hotel was great, checkin was at 3:00pm but I made it a few hours early and they made sure that I had a room ready and also I wanted to upgrade and they upgraded me without any problems. This hotel was nice and clean and the staff was excellent.
