Nice modern hotel
The hotel was within walking distance to the Galleria and great restaurants. The front desk staff were great!

The Grande Deluxe is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the food was delicious!

This hotel is in a great location, but besides that, I felt it was over priced, in every other area. The rooms are nothing special at all, and very small. You get way overcharged for parking more than one car, so make sure everyone rides together.

Looks can be deceiving
I stayed here before and was impressed...the second time around, not so much. The girl who checked me in was rude, I had to pay a deposit even though I had already prepaid & asked before I got there if I would have to pay a deposit; there was no self-parking and the housekeeping staff was clueless. I love the location, the design/decor & the rooms were comfortable but I probably won't stay here again.

Nice...but i expected more.
I just expected more. Its nice, but based on all the hype I have heard regarding the hotel, I just expected more.

I ate in the hotel restaurant one night - nice but slightly formal. Second night I walked across the street to Grotto - surprisingly good and a little more casual. A great choice - especially if dining alone. Room service breakfast in the hotel was very good.

Shortest King Sized Bed EVER!
My feet hung off the edge of the supposed King-sized bed. It was very wide but much, much too short. The noise from the nearby freeway was very loud. I am surprised there were not double pained windows considering the hotel is across the street from a very busy freeway. Also the drapery could have blocked out more light.

Not impressed...
We went for a Valentine's weekend. You can ONLY valet your car ($20 a night they don't tell you about online). The shuttle was supposed to be available till 2:00 a.m. but was not. Housekeeping knocked on the door THREE times before our check out time. Called valet from our room and they didn't get our car until we got downstairs with the claim check.
