Holiday Inn at Reliant

The location is what brings my husband and I back year after year - we are Houston Texan football fans and it is adjacent to ... Reliant Stadium. The rooms are clean and the hotel staff are polite but it is nothing spectacular in any way, shape, or form. The hotel does show it's age in the rooms, our latest had obviously had a water leak at some point since the ceiling had hanging popcorn in a few areas and an obvious water ring.

I picked this hotel because of its location, near the reliant center. The hotel stay was great. But did have a bad experence ... not any fault to the hotel or staff. Someone broke my daughers passenger window dented the real quarter panel and store her lab top computer. All this in board daylight near 0900 in the morning. Cannot blame the hotel staff they were great helping us with the clean up and made us breakfast. Will stay there again. Will not let this stop us from staying there.

Stayed here for the second time. Convenient location to highway and reliant stadium, shopping. Free parking, rooms have mini ... fridge and microwave. Pool is quiet, staff helpful.Will stay here for my next trip.

We were attending a game at reliant stadium. I love the convenience of being able to walk from the hotel to the stadium. My ... kids love the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. We have stayed here several times and love it.

this hotel tends to be nice. i have stayed there about 6 times this year through a "pre-paid" like orbitz. i think they are ... starting to segragate "pre-paid" customers, for the last two times i stayed they put me in a sub-par room, ONE bar soap, NO conditioner, NO lotion - amenities that are basic in other hotels. however, it still is a good deal if you get it on the "cheap" side.

As soon as I got there the staff was very professional and welcoming to my wife and myself. We had not had a great start to ... our trip (Thank You Delta)but the staff made every effort to help us and get us adjusted to our surroundings. The staff at the holiday inn at Reliant Park are a credit to the hotel industry.

Took a lot of daytrips. Galveston is beautiful. If you are seeing anything at Reliant Park this is a perfect place...right ... next door. The bar is nice. Pool is just big enough and outdoors. The rooms are not exactly spotless, but livable.

I arranged for a late check in and was greeted at 10pm with a very welcoming face. The hotel staff was very accomodating and ... friendly. I was able to use the business center to check in online and print my boarding pass for the following day...this allowed me to rest easy and wake refreshed. Nice hotel and property.

We went to Houston for the weekend to catch some baseball games. The staff was knowledgable about directions and helped us ... with public transportation which was so convenient to Minute Maid Ball Park. We thought we had a problem with the refrigerator and a staff member came quickly to help. It turned out to be a problem with the outlet...easy fix. The only complaint is the AC was not real cold and it was very loud so that we often turned it off while the TV was on due to loudness.

This place is fine if you get it on a good deal with someone like Orbitz. I've stayed there 4 times now, but only on a ... "deal." Would not pay more than 65$/night for. Its always something - smelly room. Phones weren't working at all once, and another time, the connection was awful - I think I got disconnected. Lights went out for about 20 min. (thunderstorm - wasn't really their fault, I suppose). Ice machine on floor wasn't working. Just seems like its always something. Hotel restaurant is no bargain, and very very average in terms of quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Holiday Inn at The Astrodome in Houston, TX. The staff were all very friendly and went ... out of their way to make sure all we wanted or needed was provided. I can't say enough about their professionalism and their friendliness. The Hotel was convenient to shopping and the freeways and very easy to commute from and to. Overall an Excellent Time and Super Staff and very nice rooms and quiet.

Try Papadeaux's Fish Factory restaurant. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. A few short blocks from the hotel.

customer service????

the overall all stay wasn't bad. The guy that checked me in was obviously inexperienced and as a result, the hotel charged me ... the stay in addition to Orbitz. it's been 3 days since i left the hotel, and after many many calls to their accounting department i still haven't been able to resolve the issue. I've been leaving messages for the past 3 days with contact information, because so far i've only been able to talk to answering machines. Seems like nobody works there.

I just spent the weekend looking for Condos in the area since Ill be moving there soon. The staff were very helpful in ... describing where everything was, sending faxes or making copies that I needed right away. Although the rooms are obviously not new, they were clean and properly laid out. The A/C was a bit noisy. Overall, good place if you just need a place to sleep while doing some business in town.
